This was an accident I worked for a Chevy Suburban and a Toyota truck. The Suburban suffered heavy front end damage from the collision and left a fairly large debris field to clean up.
The suburban looks clean on the outside but on the inside it's really dirty I don't understand how people can deal with all that filth I can imagine when it goes up for auction
My wife’s car looks like that! Drives me nuts. I end up cleaning it several times a month. I even got her a monthly car wash and I’m the only one that uses it. I had a jeep Cherokee and has it smelling like my cologne. I gave it to her for a week and she spilled pinesol in it. I had to get rid of it cause I could get rid of the smell. 🤮🤮
@@bizkit81 i keep trash bags in all of my vehicles, i had a 76 Jeep Wagoneer, loaned it to my daughter and son in law for a week, when i got it back the trash bag was over flowing and they had garbage piled as high as the seat in the back seat and garbage clear in the back
Im all the way from South Africa bro I also work in the towing industry I drive a Sling back and sometimes a Rollback , it's great to see new techniques being used to tow vehicles and I learn alot from your channel keep on pushing bro, the interior of that surbuban is totally unacceptable people don't have pride in their vehicles anymore.
Those older Toyota pickups were shipped to the us without a bed installed, those were made in Mexico and shipped to the U.S. the first part to rust out was always the bed, the cab would still be rust free.
Just found your channel and subscribed after just 2 videos reason is i like what i see you have a plain and simple way of doing the videos quick chat then right to the action so right now i think im on video 20 i'm on a binge watching spree thanks and keep up the good work.
That’s my favorite generation of Suburban. I don’t like the new ones since they removed the traditional gear shifter. That was important to me in the future since I prefer that.
I normally don't comment on these things but it kills me to read that the Toyota suffered less damage so it must be better. The Suburban did exactly what it was designed to do and that was to crush in the frontal area to protect occupants in the safety cell. Other than that horribly filthy interior, I would have rather been in the Suburban in this impact.
Hey Dustin I’m Austin 23 years old Work at franks towing service in memphis TN Love watching the videos man We do a lot of rotation calls just like you do and I drive a 2019 International to there great trucks
Thanks for watching! Glad you’re enjoying the content! I enjoyed running the International, but I’m now running a 2022 Kenworth T270. Those videos will start posting next weekend. Stay safe out there!
@@sybsygstgstsgysg5330 indeed, I struggle to keep my car clean because I have a two job schedule seven days a week most weeks. My place is not spic and span but it’s still livable for the sake of my doggo.
My car is 2 years old, and still clean inside and out, no trash or debris at all, I always keep bags for trash in the car and dispose of at any gas station trash can.
It’s not even the childrens fault. It’s the fault of the parents for not cleaning the car and teaching them to keep the car clean. I had a friend that had 8 siblings, (all of them were like third and second grade) and their Yukon was next to spotless.
Rotation calls are always interesting. Never know what you're going to show up too. Especially now that the radios here in NY are digital or encrypted.
You need to bring more people to help you clean up a two-car accident on the main busy streets to where you don't always have to have your back turned even with the officers always being there with you be safe out there you here
The more people we have on scene, the less money I make lol that’s one of the big reasons I like running a flatbed. I can take care of whatever I roll up on. On the big jobs, we definitely bring in help, but little stuff like this, I’d be on my way back to the yard before help arrived.
I have been working on cars for 26 yrs, and I used to own and I ran my shop for 20 years. I have seen many nasty and unhealthy vehicles at all times. Trash would fill all the way up to the dashboard and back glass.
Hello brother ((Thank you for this useful channel and your filming in all its details and your great work. You are perfect and everyone is proud of you and we wish you success))❤👍🏻
That was my neighbors truck!😢 it was immaculate perfectly maintained and cared for since new. Ive only lived next to him 2 yrs and I had already told him to give me 1st chance if he ever sold it. Unfortunately i didn't find out about the accident in time to try and save it😢😢😢😢 Rip Toyota
The suburban did what’s it’s designed crush to keep forces out the interior compartment. It’s not really bad just hood and right fender radiator damage frame is fine
Poor suburban, if I had one I’d keep it clean all the time. That’s what I’m doing with my expedition, you’ll never see it beyond dirty always keeping my rice clean
It's simply because the suburban is newer and safer in a crash for the person occupying the vehicle, which is why it was destroyed due to the crumple zones. So you lose the vehicle but keep your life, lol. I'm sure you know that, but I'm commenting just in case you actually didn't know why.
@@Towtruck_Dustinhere in wisconsin where I live, its the law that they have to be replaced if vehicle is in an accident. As a parent, why would you wanna re-use it after been in an accident? Are your kids lives not important?
@@Towtruck_DustinI like watching your videos and how you do things. Can you show better in video on what you do with tag and of your ratchet straps after you strap vehicle down? Another thing, why only one chain on rear of suburban??
that was suburban was nice looking on outside but not inside it was so dirty l quess some peoples dont care to clean it up i bet i smell real good inside of it to but a good job you did to
Running a rollback is my favorite lol not much I can’t tow lol The shovel I have is pretty tall, and I’ve already had a few other drivers smash my boom with bed, so I leave it in the box lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin gotcha! Makes sense cause the shovel sits higher. I’ve had issues with the tray on top of the toolbox where my dolly axles would be cause guys would leave chains in the slots and it was tear up the tray. I do miss being in the rollback at times, it’s definitely easier to just load the vehicles and go and you can do a lot of stuff.
Wow that old Toyota took that like a tank I'm surprised they didn't drive it to the shop lol it looked like it could've! Old thing should be grand with a new box and some new rear suspension components, heck even just beat the old box back into shape.
Years ago I worked as a valet for a hospital one day a lady drove up to my podium…OMG!!! her car looked like a dumpster when I was driving it to a parking spot I saw two roaches crawling in one of her cups she has I wanted to run out of that filthy disgusting horrific car…this suburban reminded me of that one time 🤢🤢🤢
Appreciate it. This one was column shift, so it should have had a mechanical linkage. I generally don’t pop them at the scene, just because it won’t really save any extra time.
Hey There , Looked Good , Nice Hook & Drag , However < You were In High-Idle All That Time , Once Hydro-power isn't Needed 0r Used , Shutting down To 'Normal Idle Really Saave $$'s . Over All a Good Tow & Clean up.
The last I knew if a carseat is in any form of a accident even if nobody was in it y can not EVER use it again I personally know of someone who got a fine due to no other seat to use and that was just a fender bender where both cars drove away and had less than $1000 worth of damage
@@Towtruck_Dustin this day and age I would to get home and no more than that especially since nobody is open 24 hours any more to get a new one after 10 pm in my area
Im about to become a self employed 24/7 long a local distance tow truck operator in new York state and in new York the law is a tow truck operator can refuse a tow a car if my boss dispatchès me to tow a car and the inside of the car looks like that ill refuse to tow it
@Towtruck_Dustin I get that but if the inside of the car truck or suv that you're towing looks like that why would you want it on the back of your tow truck not to be mean but wouldn't towing a car that is that trashed on the inside look bad for the towing business
Once all the side airbags blow off in the interior and break ,,,the expense get so high that it will not be repaired, the insurance company will total loss it.
The cops help on a lot of the scenes. Mostly the big big ones. But for the most part, they stay out of our way and let us work. I prefer it that way, but they will most always help if asked.
It amazes me how much garbage people have inside their vehicles!! I guess they are to lazy to pick up after themselves!! Makes you wonder what their homes look like 😱😱
Your good at that gig buddy. Theres a living in it if you get with the right people. I drove all different ones from 1 tons to heavy haul in about 20 years.
The Kenworth videos will start next Saturday I believe. I have content scheduled at least every other day for a while, and that’s when the international content runs out.
I can work in one spot, so I don’t have to make so many trips to the vehicle. Plus it’s just respectful not to throw a bunch of glass and debris loose on all their belongings.
