The one problem with the double choc caramel cookiemill cookie is that the actual cookie isnt that classic doublechoc almost black, rich chocolate which pretty much every double choc cookie standardly is. Its actually quite a light colour. If you blind tasted it, it actually isnt that chocolatey. Thats the one thing Im finding with the cookiemill. They tend to be on the sweeter, milk choc end of the scale. Needs a bit more real chocolate flavour in there. .

Few hrs before I just had double chocolate and single chocolate cookies from Subway , I should point out that these cookies are the most delicious ones if compared to any others added subway is more healthy in the list of fast food chains .

White Choc. Macademia is probably my fav subway cookie. Last time I got cookies from Subway they tasted vaguely of the spices that go on the breads. Was a bit of a bummer.

Most temperamental food in existence, sometimes they are gooey and just a great experience but on other occasions they are stale and flavourless

Only realised last month that you can ask them to put the cookies in the toaster. Definite 5 when warm.

Agree with the rating, love subway cookies! Ben's cookies are awful though! Everytime I've tried them, they are raw in the middle! Sainsbury's taste the difference triple chocolate (bakery aisle)are amazing & their quadruple chocolate biscuits too( in box on shelf)

Exactly the two I was going to mention. Sainsbury's Taste The Difference is a wonderful 'cakey' cookey but it can be difficult to track down a branch who don't over bake them into a biscuit 😩 (see also M&S). Whereas Lidl is a delightful example of a greasy crispy-edged cookie that's chewy and soft in the middle, more akin to Subway and Greggs. Both completely different but great in their own ways.

@@CFTism yeah the saisburyys are inconsistent. When they get it right they nail it though. The Lidl cookies are like 40 pence!!! Anyone reading this, that price is outrageous!

To be fair, Sainsbury's are about £1.50-£1.65 for four in a bag. Lidl is great because you're not restricted to a certain amout but with it comes the danger that anyone could have touched, spat on or even looked suggestively at your 🍪 s before you got there, so an early morning purchase is recommended 👍🏾

Always find the drinks machine at subway gives a chemical taste along with the paper wrapper on the sub , dunno if it's a cleaning solution but it's off putting

Really? Absolutely loved them 10 years ago, but had several times in the last several years and they're stale bollocks now. Maybe just been unlucky.

The subway ones ARE freshly baked lol, they have to. that's why they never have any at breakfast unless their from the day before in the packets
