I loved rolling the chicken breast in the Italian herb seasoning and then toasting it with provolone. Add a little marinara from the meatballs and you have a dank sub
250 for the wrap 200 for the steak 100 for the cheese 20 for veggies 150 for Doritos 80 for sauces ~800 calories Ok I got a lot of heat for my estimates, so I checked subways nutrition info and here’s how much it would ACTUALLY BE… 300 for the wrap 110 for the steak 50 for the cheese 5 for the veggies 260 for the Doritos 150 for the sauces -875 calories
My subway near me is always big amounts of meat especially since they went under new management. I ask the new manager why the food was so small before he took over. He said they were giving me the wrong amount but now I'm getting there Right amount
It’s not $4 ? It like $4.50 here. Also subway is just as expensive as a sub shop that makes real Italian subs (not half assed commercial subs that don’t even count as bread in the uk for how much sugar they have. Why is the roast beef so shitty! They even stopped caring roast beef at my local shop. Dream killer restaurant. If you’re successful as a subway at all it’s because you’ve found a special area that is a food desert. If you haven’t gone to college look it up.
@@bill-or-somthingbill4390Ireland*. Also, subway bread is still considered bread in Ireland. It’s just not exemptable from taxes like bread from grocery stores.
This is a genius idea Milad. I would imagine Subway can’t use it due to copyright infringement :/ but why the heck can’t Taco Bell do this since they already have a collab with Doritos and use their flavor/chips in other products? I would 100% buy. You should get your cut of the deal ! :)
The problem is that they use a large tortilla to hold the stuff, then a small one on top to fill in the gap between the folds of the large tortilla. Then they cook the top so it gets sealed together. Dont get me wrong, that looks amazing, but that's why it was hard to close. Hope this helps if you do this again!
I work at subway and seeing you able to pick up that hot brown thingy makes my hands hurt we have these two little green things that we use to pick them up so we don't burn ourselves but one went missing so I ask somebody else to grab it outta the toaster oven for me 😂
Midwest… living in cali is honestly just a terrible choice in almost all aspects it’s not #1 in anything. I stand firm that Colorado is better 🍃 then cali is cold states just know how to do it better
I worked for Subway for 6 years out of highschool and college, I made bread bowls, nachos, n so much good things customers were asking if it was on the menu
As a Doordash driver, delivering taco bell to a subway is not out of the ordinary. If anything it's easier than most orders and I'd get a kick out of it
YES my go to is a veggie patty wrap with tomato onions smashed avocado bacon or pepperoni, I either use pepper jack or provolone, mayo and honey mustard that shit is my energy food but WRAPS ARE SO EXPENSIVE the whole thing usually costs me like 13-14 dollars and it’s amazing I never feel bloated after I eat it, but FUCK it’s pricey
You can put that much, and even more, but you've gotta switch the ingredients top-bottom. That's the traditional build, for making it how TB does. Meat & cheese first, a flat bed of Doritos, and then you add the veggies & sauces. Unfortunately, you can't grill, so those CW will probably always have less ingredients that can be fully held. Either way, that boi looks H E A V Y.
My sister worked at a subway like 20 years ago. I went in when they were closing and I had my sister make me a sandwich. White bread, salami, pepperoni, green peppers, American cheese, and add the sauce from the meatballs. The best sandwich I’ve ever had.
When I worked there in highschool, I used to use the wraps to make taquitos and quesadillas and just charge people extra cheese for it since I cheesed the inside & the outside. My manager loved the idea & it helped boost sales lol
Back when I managed a subway I’d always get the chicken piziola with garden salsa SunChips toasted on it, far from healthy but you won’t find a better sun from the forbidden menu.
"I'm not willing to doordash taco bell while working on my shift" I feel you man. But real shit, I've seen one of the other managers at where I work doordash popeyes and eat in the middle of dinner rush. Left me, the GM, and some in stores to cover the dinner rush of a Friday night. Some people are unreal sometimes.
Crunch wraps use two tortillas. One big, and one small. I think at least. The big one is what you put everything on, and then you put the small one on everything to make sure it doesn’t spill.
I’m sure you know this, but throw the meats (steak or chicken) on the white paper. Onion bell pepper some olive oil. Toss it around, add salt pepper. Then into the oven. I like it better that way. I was a sandwich artist for 6 years. lol there’s not a single thing I haven’t tried with any and all ingredients
Living on base in Dam Neck, VA i ordered something very similar. Except i got it on a flatbread with double steak and s&p. Add the doritos its pretty banging
There are a few local sandwich shops in my area that charge $10-12 bucks for a much better product, Subway isn't even cheap anymore so it's basically pointless.
That's crazy. Because i've actually made one of these when I worked it subway ten years ago. I wish I could buy that steak to make it home.. I feel like all the steak like that you buy from the store is garbage
i used to make burritos n shit all the time at subway lmao, i think they now have a mexicalli or something which is basically what i did if you get in wrap form and add jalapeños
