I suspect that's because he knows David Cross is the kind of comedian that does things wrong on purpose to get a reaction, and he'd rather be in on the joke with David Cross then correct him and find out if it was a joke.
Tom hardly ever looks insecure except when he's around someone he actually loves and respects and David Cross is clearly one of 'em lol. Glad to see there's a little joy left in there bud
Really prefer episodes with Guest Bears and Tim at this point. Guess I just like watching Tom do light interviews without being constantly interrupted.

I know Tom talks about people making BS comparisons of him with other men with beards. But I legit thought Tom and H. Jon Benjamin were the same man. I thought Tom was the guy who voiced Carl in Family Guy, and would tell people that he was.
