I'd love to see more people try this out. Honestly. It makes for fun demos with the ladder outside . People can stick their face in it and catch a hair trick without the door being open LOL
For clarification's sake, my door windows don't roll down. The doors are filled with wood and two-part foam so it's very hard and doesn't flex. I was ripping doors apart before I did that
All the bass leaving out the door my man is having so much fun with the closed driver side door if you think it was loud there the camera wouldn’t even pick up words in the spl corner😂
Just started getting into doin my own builds and I'm so not there yet but I will be one day I was just listening to my shit and was gonnabgondo some work on it now idk if I should b3 motivated or embarrassed damn...😢 all I got is a qpower 15in superdelux and a fosgate 1000W monoblock some 6×9s and a DS18 8 in on mids 5o a atek 1200 watt 2 channel and skar 5inways front door and kicker 6.5 2 ways back doors to the head unit. It actually sounds pretty good so far. I should do some posts about my first build. It has been a he'll of a journey. And I'm just learning about all the ways and options and preferences of car audio. I'm having a great time at 41.. this is really cool
I missed that part. But it does do over 160db at 30hz lol would love to see more people try out the ported windshield! 😁 Most people won't commit to it tho lol
@@anthonycoia596yeah it's the first time after watching many vids I ever seen a subwoofer port through the front windshield 😂👍I love it! Looked very loud. I'm RyanBassForLife and I have 2 18" Resilient Sounds Platinum subwoofers ✔️IT OUT 💯
I do that in my Yukon wth 4 15's, roll da windows up then open da sunroof, and adjust tuning by how wide or narrow you open it. Shit hits hard ass hell.
well, you need to close the door to see the affects of that ported windshield, looks like it should turn the enclosure into a series tuned 6th order if you are hearing it from the outside
It still functions with door open, just not as good as door closed. You're right to a degree, I don't think it would be a 6th as the bottom section the woofers load into is still sealed and a part of the # of orders involved.
@@anthonycoia596 no problem lol if that had a turret and your vehicle looking like that imagine if it was on the road and cops saw that thing sirens instantly and i think people would take pictures or call 911 😂
Without the ported window, it's a 4th order. The bottom is sealed and the ported side fires into the listening chamber. This was just for fun since the windows won't ever roll down again.
Why not? No one else is doin it. Just doin something different. Can't roll my windows down either, so there's that and this is removable. It's just for fun
I think it should be a rule that every car with a system has to be in legal driving condition in order to compete and I know there's a class for that but I'm talking about all around I'm sorry but once you do something like this to a car and you can't drive it anymore it shouldn't even be considered car audio you get what I'm saying
Not really man it's a demo machine. I don't compete anyway, so I'm not in any "class" and rules don't apply, I'm just out having fun with people. It's just for fun, there is a panel that gets bolted in place of the ported panel so it's all sealed up again. I just wasn't going to keep paying for windshields when I already trailer it everywhere anyway.
girl was like...hes stupid.......i just play my boombox loud and turn on 6 fans....it blows my hair around.....this is caveman sh-t using Technologie.....like first time with fire. people are really weird n stuff . not impressed....more like suppressed
