Congratulations they are perfect, such chunky little ewl. I don't breed t's although I would like to try my partner does breed them though so I am lucky and my males go to him, he has a collection of about 350 t's so he usually has one of whatever sp of male I have, like you said better he is dinner and gets atleast his chance then do laps in an enclosure, it reminds me of the old adverts where the bears n tigers would pace bk n forth in their cages, makes me very sad. The only male I have that I can't find a female for is an ometepe island albopilosus but I doubt I will ever find one he is from the first UK sac off Ray so I doubt any females will be ready before him. Anyways great upload as always Dave, Camera Lady and Congratulations again on breeding such a beautiful bunch of baby's 😊

Have you taken a sack from this one before? I ask because she may have been trying to dig her way out. I know Cows (which are just like spiders, LOL) once they have had a calf taken away they often run away from the Farm to give birth. Many Species are difficult to breed in captivity. I know that all of your spiders are very well taken care of. But you can't suppress Millions of years of instinct.

I know it's all extra work but I often think, ahh, I wonder what pairing that was? I know you have the playlist and leave your videos uploaded but if possible, some stage in the future, could you link the actual pairing that pertains to the particular sac in the video in description box? If no, I completely understand but you'll get even more subscribers if you did and it would help towards getting that 100.000 RU-vid plaque to put on wall at your new place, as long as you have enough space for that and your pink neon Beasties sign. I promise that will happen, if not I'll eat my hat 🎩 😊

@TarantulaRookie
@TarantulaRookie Год назад
I think Dave has said previously that he has not had it happen personally. I have had a cambridgei whose foot hooks have become caught, it seems that as the exo is a woven mesh and not a machine formed mesh (like the komodo ones are) that this can cause the mesh to slide a little and trap the hooks. I havent had it happen on any other spider - just the cambridgei and i had to help it by supporting it and then sliding the mesh slightly. I think people panic about it more than it actually happening - but i do change out mine for acrylic - just like the way that looks anyway (although I know dave will roll his eyes at me for this hahaha)
