Kara Swisher is so consistently annoying, both here and in the podcast. An interviewer is supposed to be neutral and ask probing questions that don't lead the interviewee in one direction or the other. She so regularly puts in her biased two cents, name drops, interrupts and asks loaded questions. It really takes away from the interview because the cast is so damn brilliant. She's really out of her depth interviewing them.
Yeah I’m not a fan of her on the podcast either. They needed to do it more like the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul pods where it’s hosted by someone from the show.
Yeah, I've never come across this chick before but I could go the rest of my life without hearing, "talk about....." These are not questions. Hey you, talk about questions you would ask to get more out of your subjects. Highly irritating
22:00 (and just before) - So apparently Brian was being really funny here but since his mic wasn't up, the CC didn't catch it and it's hard to hear it at all - and it doesn't help that the interviewer, whose mic was SO much clearer and louder, kept trying to interrupt him instead of letting the man finish!!! Let the joke play out, interviewer!!! Your little question is not that important that you need to stop him. Ugh. And her little snark before that at 18:55? ("They're buying Roku, but go ahead.") OMG that's so not the point, he was making a comparison. Unpleasant.
Does the interviewer know these people are actors playing characters and that Succession is not a a documentary. She keeps asking them questions as if they are the characters.
The interviewer is Kara Swisher, long time tech writer and columnist who has interviewed a wide variety of people like Jobs and Musk. And yes, she's watched the show.
Wow, off the top, and I'm not complaining but awful questions non? So loosely formed bordering on vague? lol THEY handled it beautifully though. Succession is ending too soon...and I love an "end on a high" moment but this is WAY too soon, so much more juicy stories can be told with this fine cast. Logan will be missed but there is SO much to chew on.
This interviewer is talking to them as if they are actually a billionaire media family, it's so weird. She hates Republicans so much that she can't even talk to ppl who play Republicans on TV. Bc more than likely most of these actors, if not all, are liberals.
This show is just amazing, sad the 4th Season is probably their last Season for story purposes... But I wish they do like another related Show or Something, this was so great!
What a horrible interviewer? I was cringing watching it. Such a great show and cast, its a shame that the interviewer hasnt watch the show or doesnt appreciate it.
She’s famously a font of knowledge when it comes to the tech/business insider world. I think that’s why HBO chose her to host the official podcast, and this panel. But I don’t feel like she interviews in her normal tone when she’s doing these Succession interviews, unfortunately. She irritates me at times in this capacity buuuut I like her especially for when she crosses lines in interviews that are normally forbidden. I assume she was chosen for these things because her persona is practically like a character from the show, but it doesn’t always play well in this context imo when she’s towing the line. Feels a little awkward.
I agree. Terrible interview style, terrible audio. I'd like to see this interview in a different venue with someone better able to conduct the interview.
on the other hand, some of the cast and the creator were incredibly snarky when they were interviewed for build by a guy who clearly was so in awe of them that he was incredibly nervous. maybe they need some snarkiness back from their interviewers to be kept in check, or at least make it equitable.

I Love the difficult scene with the three of them. It's Like this everyday in Las Vegas so 🥵 🏜️ I Love Jeremy said him sitting on the ground was a mistake. Sarah's kindness and Kiren I just wanted to go home 😂 I have days like that so funny 😅😂😂😂Matthew McFadden I can't get any more attractive. So undoubtedly handsome ☺️😌
Not a fan of the woman hosting she I terupts them constantly to try get a laugh and then talks down to them. Never heard of her before but won’t be watching any more she hosts. Love the show! On the last episode as we speak!

Everyone talking about interviewer or mics whatever but them playing and making fun when after 30 mins Jeremy actually wants to say something pisses me off soooo much so annoying…like that’s the whole reason I’m here and it’s not even funny

I listened to all the podcasts as the episodes released for season 4 and I enjoyed it efforts for that I constantly found myself wishing someone else had hosted it. I only just found that people on RU-vid (at least on this video) agree.
when is this interview from??? bc it doesn't sound like they've filmed season 4 which by the time this video was uploaded i'm pretty sure they were already in the middle of filming
no not see through i think its purposeful, at first I thought it was tacky but I actually think I like it, like a fashion statement but not in a pretentious way
the end scene was HORRIBLE. so super obviously-over the top fake. does not add up in relation to what was before. way too little too fast. no depth. for a end note and a time of suspense, potentially, or even more so, for a series finish.....what the hell was that ?? the sole scene that got screwed up, and did it ever get srewed up ROAYALLY. and i love the show. its like the effect of cocaine and heroin at the same time. great great escape and animation. great actors. brilliant music. Roman: "why dad ??" Logan: "you come to me with LOVE ?" that hurt.
@@brandonl05 the ending was great imo. it was faster pace with more characters and a bigger buildup. i felt like it needed something different from the other two seasons ending. it was the best ending. the writing in the show is at game of thrones early seasons level.
