even though I've reread the succession war at least 4-5 times and seen every recap video and hxh explained video on YT I'm still glad you posted this!! HxH is probably my favorite shonen.

While I'm amazed by the amount of detail and complexity of this arc, I wonder how much more complicated it will get once they actually get to the dark continent and if any of this crazy amount of characters will be relevant in the future

Dude reading this manga was soooo hard.. there's so much dialogue and its so hard to follow on so many different characters. I am impressed by which each character actually shows that they think what a person would think in their position instead of just thinking stuff up just for the plot. That is something i appreciate but there is waaaaaay too much dialogue

Yah this arc really tests my reading comprehension. Since I am not as passionate about HxH it is harder for me to keep track of character names. Like since my favorite manga and anime of all time is One Piece, I am more passionate about remembering many character names and events who are probably inconsequential. If the succession arc was placed in One Piece with One Piece characters, I would probably remember more details. Well it seems that I will have to reread this arc one day, but the hiatus doesn't help, though I hope Togashi takes care of his health. And personally, I do think this arc is way too dialogue heavy, but maybe due to my bad reading comprehension, I have a harder retaining so much of the information thrown at me.

Nice video. But a little correction at 9:15: Furykov isn't Silent Majority 's User. It's still unknown who the "Mysterious Assassin" is. We know that among those 16, there were 6 Nen Users. We know 5 of them, however Togashi still hasn't revealed the last nen user among those to us yet.

The funny about Nen is that even a powerful ability used by a normie person can be rendered useless to an average Nen user whose physical strength is superhuman. The 4th Prince wouldn't stand a chance against a nenless Gon most likely. It's useful against normal humans but people like the Phantom Troupe are easily able to deal with normies with Nen

Why is the art always so trash?

This is shaping up to be the worst arc in HxH. There are like 20 subplots going on, with each having another 20 sub-plots more. Complexity doesnt equal quality, and Togashi needs to understand the limitations of manga’s format.
