Thank you Rangsk for starting us off with a history lesson and bringing in the magnificent Phistomefel. Excellent choice of 6 colors and determining the 6 regions!!
At 18:20 instead of doing sudoku, counting the borders that the 6 cell see you would see that you were missing one border on top, finishing the regions much earlier
Having had a decent amount of experience with both chaos and the border counts with larger puzzles, this flowed wonderfully for me and I think it took as long to do the irregular sudoku after all the regions were determined as to determine the regions themselves! 😄 Done in 5:35, many thanks to gdc for an awesome puzzle and to Rangsk for presenting it!
I'm learning to love chaos construction puzzles, after being hesitant for a long time. I think the thing that got you stuck on the 6 cell is that you were counting all four directions for where possible borders could be, when the cell only pointed three directions. My time today was 5:55, solver number 57.
