Huge difference I been doing this for the last 3 months, and in addition, I been playing on that side of the court most of the games. Now I realize that I got better with my back hand than other players that have been playing for longer. Same idea applies to workout routines. I know - I’ve been a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer for years (specializing in senior fitness training). The exercises you hate the most….are usually the ones you need to do the most.
I like starting with the backhand because it's easier on the shoulder, opens up the AC joint. Once warm, move to forehand. Ceiling balls first, then DTL, then pinch drill. Ready. All y'all complaining about shoulder pain, start with your backhand (and check your swing mechanics).
