Having a few hours spare in Bury St Edmunds then you must explore the wonderful Abbey Gardens, with tis beautifully planted flower beds and enigmatic ruined abbey. The site has been a place of worship and pilgrimage for over 1000 years and still sees thousands of visitors every year.
On this short walk I explore the ruins of the abbey as well as visit the Norman Tower and nearby Charnel House.
