Omg this is a work of art

My cousin Matt introduced me to your music back in 2008, this album specifically. I fell in love with Illinois (of course I'm biased in favor of the album, Illinois is where I was born and I have a lot of family there). After his death in 2011, I treasured your music like a keepsake. And then when my grandma died in 2016, Carrie & Lowell became a bitter sweet refuge for me around her death. I haven't watched The Politician, but I might start because if the show runners have good enough taste to use this song as the opening, I will give them the benefit of the doubt that the show itself is good too. Thank you, Sufjan, your music is a blessing and your vulnerability cared for my own in the trials of my life.

Just finished 1st season of The Politician last night. Been listening to this all day! Its wonderful and I also listened today to ther oscar-nominated song from Call me by your name Mysteries of love. This singer and music writer has so much talent! I'm thinking of buying his album! Who ever is listening to this hope that it makes them happy and puts them in a good mood like it did for me!
