I love this song. I remember listening to it last year not thinking I would ever really relate to it, but since I can't visit relatives this year, it really hits home. Thanks for uploading this version!
My husband and I listen to all of Sufjan's Christmas songs while we lay on the couch and look at the tree lights. "I'll kiss you on the back of the neck, because it's Christmas time" is our favorite line. But, this song felt like a gut punch this year. I still love it-- but it will always feel different after 2020.
