Glad I discovered him 30+ years ago. Many years of good music to really enjoy. Still feel like I only scratched the surface though in that I dont have all his recordings or even heard all his songs.
Saw Sugar at Sierra Nevada World Music Festival and boy was I impressed. Was a Sugar fan after his performance. He then played the dancehall with Richie Spice. Epic day. You are missed Sugar.

My singer 100%...no other artist can come close. Not only the music he created but the number of Jamaican artists who owe their career to his guidance....Tenor Saw, Nitty Gritty, Garnett Silk, Tony Rebel, Junior Reid, Yami Bolo and on and on.
