Speed/reflexes goes to Roy or Floyd, Skill goes to James Toney. Nobody could fight on the ropes like Toney. Jab goes to Holmes. Footwork goes to Ali. Chin goes to Tua. Heart goes to Joe Frazier/ Larry Holmes. The great fighters all showed that that they could get off the floor to win a fight. Stamina, I like Salvador Sanchez. Power goes to Julian Jackson. Overall toughness from head to toe, Hagler. Didn't matter where you hit him and what you hit him with, you were just gonna piss him off.

i agree will all except power ...thats Sugar Ray Robinson...he Damn near killed people with his left hook.Pound for pound ive seen nothing like that kind of power. Also add Duran to Heart, next to Frazier.
@@allpraiseduetogod SRR actually did kill someone in the ring the craziest part is a week before he had a dream he killed the guy in the ring and tried to cancel the fight but no one listened
If Ali, Holmes, James Tillis, Ron Lyle amongst others say shavers hits the hardest by far I’ll take there word for it! How Holmes got up I’ll never know
All fighters mentioned are magnificent .we all have favorite boxers . Different minds and eyes think and see different things. My favs were jack johnson joe louis muhammad Ali sugat ray leonard and Tommy hearns. I think from those five superb boxers ,a complete boxer can be built. I think for mental toughness jack johnson was the man. Johnson had three balls .
The 1st one acknowledging the precision and perfection of hearns' jab. Imo the best jab ever. Used as his primary weapon to outbox ray leonard, benitez, virgil hill.. and besically - fighting 67 times without being outboxed a single round.. underrated jab
He should have said Ali for the best chin! And he also should have said Salvador Sanchez for he was tops in every category and did it all before turning 23 and then lost his life. If he were not killed in a car crash, imagine how great he would have gone down as. A top 10 fighter of all time possibly.
Here's mine: Shaq's body, Floyd's fight IQ, Speed like Manny Pacquiao, and Footwork like Vasyl Lomachenko I would also make him a Right handed southpaw because there aren't many of them amongst heavyweights.
@@jesus97640 Mike Tyson was mainly a left handed othadox , lomachenko is a right handed south paw , Crawford is a right handed south paw , Marvin hagler is a left handed orthodox , if you know anything about boxing , true deep knowledge you know it’s better to fight with strong hand forward , but everyone is sheep and listens to what other people tell them
Man you right.. people don't tell the truth when it comes to the floyd hate. People mainly hate floyd cause he's a real nigga. Anytime you have a successful black man who isn't a Hootie(Darius Rucker), the natural fear that causes makes them hate. #FACTS
Power: Sonny Liston, George Foreman, Mike Tyson Chin: Marvin Hagler, Rocky Marciano Speed: Roy Jones Junior, Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns Skill: Muhammad Ali, James Toney, Loma
Perfect Fighter Roy Jones (Unorthodoxy) Deontay Wider (POWER) Marvin Hagler (Heart) Mayweather Jr ( Defense) Manny Paquio (Hand Speed) Ray Leonard (FOOTWORK) Andre Ward (Boxing IQ)
GGG has the best chin in boxing history (he took Canelo’s biggest haymaker shot that KO’d Khan), and walked through it like it was nothing. Literally we’ve never seen him even remotely hurt or wobbled, yet alone dropped. I doubt Hagler could take Canelo’s hardest shot clean on the chin and walk through it completely in phases like GGG did.
Hagler. Never legitimately decked. The most complete boxer of the modern era. Nobody at the World Championship level has been as versatile & effective as Hagler, his title reign tells no lies. If youre looking to create the perfect boxer you start with him, he is the Universal Soldier Prototype. *Jab* Ali. then Hearns, then Holmes. Ali & Holmes had a more basic jab than Hearns, With Ali & Holmes a jab was just a jab, at worst it was setting up a right cross. Hearns jab was AS GOOD as Holmes but how Hearns used his lead hand to hook to the body & Head & uppercut with it sets him apart & how he used it to control his opponent & set up that BAZOOKA right hand of his is legendary. When yer talking about the best lead hand the sport has seen yer talking about Tommy Hearns & Roy Jones Jr & on versatility & effectiveness Im going with Hearns. *Power* In terms of consistency ts hard to look beyond Tyson & Foreman. Ferocity goes to Tyson, Raw natural nervous system damaging power is Foreman, go to the dictionary & look up the term "Heavy Handed" & there you will see a pic of Big George smiling back at you. Guys like Bob Foster come into the conversation & today Wilder probably needs some respect put on his name, as a one shot *KO Artist* Wilder is genuinely top class, hes not out there shutting his eyes, swinging blindly & getting lucky, hes boxing safe, being composed, setting it up n picking his moments, his display in Fury 1 was *FRIGHTENING* but for one single second it was arguably the highest level of *KO ARTISTRY* ever seen in a World Championship Boxing ring. Beterbiev is displaying special power at LHW. Him & Wilder might not have faced the amount of quality opponents the guys from earlier eras have faced but what they're displaying at the World Championship level is as real as anything that has gone before them. *Speed* Single shot "SNAP !" Ive not seen faster than Hearns or Roy Jones. Effective combination punching Ali, Leonard, Roy Jones & Mike Tyson. *Footwork* Its more than just using the ring. Hagler had fantastic footwork, Mike Tyson had fantastic footwork as did Marciano. Andy Ruiz today has similar footwork to Marciano (Step n slide, keeping the feet in position to deliver power at all times, ask Anthony Joshua about it) In terms of using the ring, Ali, Leonard & today Tyson Fury, Usyk, Lomachenko & Keith Thurman. Thurman & Roy Jones are both excellent examples of using their feet to create power & Fury under Sugar Hill is getting there too. *Heart* Ray damn near said it best. All great fighters have it. *Chin* Hagler. The man was TOUGH n put his chin on the line n walked through SERIOUS fire to get Hearns & THE BEAST Mugabi outa there. *ALL TIME GREAT MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP PERFORMANCES* #Heroic #Legendary Holyfield. Started as a LHW n ended up going to war with 250lb monsters like Riddick Bowe & Lennox Lewis. *Best p4p since 1980* Leonard. Nobody was or is better than Leonard on the BIG occasion. When the pressure is highest, when the prize is the biggest, when the challenge is toughest, nobody has delivered the goods as convincingly as Leonard. Roy Jones is up there too, Hagler is too, but in Haglers case styles make fights, his style is universal & can beat all others but a singular great style can top him as in the case when he fought Leonard, who was just a wee bit too streetwise for him n a wee bit too fast for him. Roy always shone bright on the big occasion too but he didn't get good n great Champions outa there like Leonard did. Roy let finishes happen, Ray made them happen.
I was surprised Ray didn't mention I.Q. - maybe that's what he meant by composure. In any event, Floyd jr gets it for IQ & Pacquiao gets it for speed . Holmes for jab, Tyson & Foreman for power & Ali for chin & as The Greatest of All - Time !
There's only One Greatest of All Time Athlete/Boxer that's Muhammad Ali goes hand in hand with the word G.O.A.T. mean God On Ali Team is the reason he's resting now in Heaven Peacefully.
Shemere Ali Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest boxer ever, the overrated Ali admitted it calling him ”My idol my King my Master” Ali did not go to heaven because he did not believe in the Only begotten Son of God, the Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
@@Catholic-Christian Listen dummy nobody knows who Sugar ray robinson is they know Sugar ray leonard in fact Sugar ray leonard boxes in the same wright class as Sugar ray robinson but he identifies with the G.O.A.T. Ali listen to what Sugar ray leonard said all the boxers in the 70's thought Ali like God in the boxing nuff said dummy now let the Greatest of All Time rest in Heaven with his Father Almighty God Allah Peacefully
Shemere Ali Yes most people dont know because he boxed in the 50s and secondly because the loudmouths get all the attention from the people, that is what people like. Sugar Ray Leonard asked Robinson if he could use his name and he allowed him. ”He who believes not on the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him” I ask you humbly and reverently to come into the bosom of the Catholic Church outside of which there is no salvation.
@@Catholic-Christian His competition was not in the same league as Ali as far as talking Ali not only talk the talk but more importantly he walk the walk with the help of his our Father Almighty God Allah.Sugar got his name from ray charles not ray robinson and another thing always been about heavyweights that's why Ali is the Greatest athlete of all time and a hundred years from now we still will be saying the same thing as him being the Greatest the G.O.A.T. mean God On Ali Team which makes Muhammad Ali Timeless.
Shemere Ali Ali and Mayweather are the most overrated fighters ever proving the truth of God ”He that exalteth himself shall be humbled and he that humbles himself shall be exalted” Ray Robinson beat world class champion fighters in his 36-40 years which shows you his uniqueness and his dominatation in his prime is unprecedented 125-1. Ali got smashed and bullied by many fighters like Frazier, Norton and got dropped many times. He is simply overrated. He was tough mentaly and a great character that I give you. It is hard to dislike him for the man that he was but a top 10 all time he was not. Maybe just maybe I can put him top 15.
Pacquiao's discipline also, to make you last longer, if you tell me how about Hopkins? Well, is he an aggressive fighter, boring and dirty. Being the perfect boxer you have to be exciting.
@@Catholic-Christian you really wanted him to fight Margarito even after he was caught cheating??? Fucking pathetic how bad you wanted him to take an L
