Sugar Ray Leonard wanted to be like Muhammed Ali, Muhammad Ali wanted to be like Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Robinson wanted to be like Joe Louis, Joe Louis wanted to be like Jack Johnson and so on... we all have inspirations, don't let that stop you from trying to imitate anyone you admire or look up to! For the true Ray Leonard fans there should still be one more fight in this video...when Ray won the light heavyweight belt from Donny LaLonde in 1988. That fight made Ray Leonard a champion in three different weight classes in his career. Besides that, this was a great video!! Thanks

They fought at super middleweight actually. LaLonde was a LightHeavyWeight, but Leonard forced the promoters to have the fight at the lighter division, thus leaving LaLonde extra weight drained, which negatively affects strength and stamina. Leonard knew what he was doing. Very Strategically opportunistic. Just like demanding the Duran rematch be several months sooner than it really should've been.
