RBX had earned Death Row their first Grammy award for Let Me Ride, which was originally his song but he gave it to Dr. Dre. He contributed a lot quotable lines and verses to the Chronic and Doggystyle. This man deserves an ultimate respect.
I like listening to RBX interviews. He's calm, mature, articulates his thoughts best he can, no tall tales, it appears to be truthful, and it's typically a complete narrative.
He is a genuine down to earth guy.I have talked to him a few times on the phone years back when I was in the music industry.He was always positive,willing to work and gave good feedback on stuff.

Why none of the people that’s really in control in the music business ever get “karma”? It’s always Puff, Suge, Baby, Jay, etc that supposedly do everybody wrong. Y’all act like all of them wasn’t answering to a higher power who are the real crooks.
There are some parts of the Music Business that have societal rules (or lack of) like the Wild-Wild West, running off with a recording artist's publishing & knowing full well that they did not write one word in a song is bizarre.

It is not normal for someone to own all of the rights of a creative outcome which they did not originally create. Yes, I do understand that a record company will invest into a recording artist & must recoup as well as profit but for a record company to own 100 percent of a piece of creativity from an album is fully crazy. Even painters & sculptors in Europe have Artist Resale Rights that balances out the future of an artist's family, beneficiaries or their estates. There are areas in the music industry where people will be earning a fortune from songs & albums that they did not write one word to, & the recording artist is eating crumbs off of a table, I do not care how standard that may be, it is completely weird.

@@isaiahedwards6586yeah, Independent is the best way to go longevity wise, unless a recording artist can find leverage like Sade, where the major label knows the worth in the music. Nas is another example of knowing their worth as well.
Every rapper should ensure 1. They have independent financial advisers. 2. Understand the music industry, publishing, advances etc etc and 3. Understand that when you get advance and go straight to the Jewi*h jewellers they do NOT wear expensive and flashy jewels but rather have investments such as property, stocks and shares. All what RBX is saying has happened across labels from Def Jam to No Limit to Bad boy records
We have all the talent but no business acumen, we only focus on the art but you have to stay on top of the business. Music business is 90% business 10% music💯.
Yeah play hardball with these record companies. Explain to them that even though your just an employee at the label and your music is little more than a new product they are flogging you should get the lions share of profits. I tried something similar during the 2nd season of life goes on. They laughed in my face for 6 to 8 minutes before telling me how easy it is for them to find another down syndrome kid with ginger hair.

Snoop should have had U in every album he dropped. but it's not the case. he prefers having some punks from everywhere but his family and close friends on his albums. these features don't make the sales, U guys could make make pore numbers all the dpgc reunited on a Snoop album with other guest but with your team.
People don’t realize how complex and corrupt the music business is and that there’s a lot of people behind the marque stars who did a lot of the behind the scenes work and deserve our respect and admiration - RBX is one of those people.
Do your research! *Snoop owns the DeathRow Logo/Brand he doesnt own the deathrow music catalogue.* The music masters still in the same place as before.
Maybe it would have been best if RBX would have signed to Ruthless Records instead of Death Row Records. Imagine a RBX & Kakane with Cold 187 on the production.

RBX's name is on the cover in blue ink but it is listed last and slightly obscured by some other letters. Maybe just bad graphic design, but i wouldn't have listed him last.
Nah, homie, I have the original CD when it came out. Your name is all over the Chronic CD. I still have it. Each song lists the names of whomever is on it, including the interludes. All names are there, even Bushwick Bill... All names except Warren G

Ok we all know that him and Snoop are cuzins but why did Snoop let dude smash RBX on "who got sum gangsta shit" when dude said "that's why we x'ed ya bitch ass from the pound" if that was my cuzin I wuldn't have let anybody go at my fam like that made me think that Snoop and RBX aren't that close fo that too happen and this is just my opinion tho
