I'm with you on that man. Love Rocky's kick ass guitar playing. I just saw him the other day on RU-vid playing with Harley Flanagan on some new Cro-Mag's tune. That was cool, psyched to be able to hear some new stuff from him.
I feel like ST and Mike especially don't get nearly enough credit for how legendary and innovative they are. I wish we could see that legendary lineup perform one more time
Even Louiche Mayorga is one of the best. His playing on their first record and Join the Army cemented him as a Crossover Thrash and Hardcore Punk legend. Then of course Trujillo who is a thrash legend. Suicidal is a rare band with two legendary lineups.
Is it just me,am I thinking too much,or was How Will I Laugh a concept record? Check it out,listen to that album from beginning to end and just think about the words each song says.....Love that record man...
Suicidal tendencies is a amazing band my mom has been listening to suicidal tendencies since the 80's and in 2016 and 2023 me my mom and my brother have seen suicidal tendencies and I believe my mom saw them in 1994 with Metallica before I was born . ST was the best. There will never be another band that gets famous for doing bad punk rock and being crazy. Has a huge unexpected hit playing HC becoming world famous. Then crosses over to become one of the greatest Metal outfits in history. All this while doing their own thing. Don’t even get me started about infectious grooves rn. I’m stoned af and I could do a thousand miss placed words about how that band changed my everything. Suicidal for life
Back in the early days , the suicidal tendencies gang (suis), would fight with FFF(Nazis) Khaos13(cholo punks) , Bay area skins, The Bash Boys, Skate Punk locos, L.A.D.S. Sacred Rites, (SRs) Basically, the Suicidal Tendencies gang was in the same family as Venice 13, Venice White Boys, Venice Jokers, Rimpest, Dogtown Skaters, and other sets. On a weird side note. CHAOS became KAOS (K-13) formed a girls group Called Westside Dolls. One of the homegirls recruits was Dean Martin's Granddaughter .

When he speaks about Venice Beach, it reminds me of West Edmonton Mall here. Death and gang activity surrounds the biggest shopping mall in the world. It's paradise here for other people from outside of this country ... but when they come to our city, yet, people outside of my city don't really know about the brutal gang violence that surrounds West Edmonton Mall.
Nah, man. If you're really good people will hear it, but that doesn't mean you're gonna end up on a record label; that you're gonna end up huge. I know my music is excellent, i've played tons of shows with folks like Daniel Johnston and David J(Bauhaus), and I honestly blew David off the stage. Doesn't matter. I could have sent my music to every label in the world, but unless you're in the right place at the right time, have the right connection, etc., forget it. I mean, Suicidal came out of the LA punk scene when it was _thriving._ I'm from a college town in North Texas..totally different scenes and possibilities. It's actually pretty heartbreaking to know that Billie Eilish or Selena Gomez are getting paid in the shade for what they do, and their music is garbage compared to mine. It's trash. Anyways..
