Ernie is an animal; the Vegas set was fucking killer! 🤘 8:21 You make your own luck. You can easily identify the people that aren't working on their craft; they are the ones that go "oh he just got lucky".
Ernie is a beast. Stoked this panned out for him. I had a kind of similar situation happen with a band I was “filling in for”… I didn’t handle it as well as he did. 🤷🏻♂️
Also, yes do the extra podcast. It'll be dope to have a show where you get more into current metal events and reviews and whatever other things in pop culture that your into or not a fan of.
I remember catching dudes drumstick at chaos and carnage then being so distraught and out of it after stepping out of the venue that I didn’t even realize when a guy said hi to me that it was Ernie 😭
Ernie is an absolute legend!!! Met him through a good friend of ours, Troy. Ernie refinished my first “Real” Drum kit and was the first person I told when I got my first Tama kit! 🤘🏻💜☯️
I'm not a deathcore fan and I love the new Sui album. Can't wait for how they evolve. To me, it was close to being a death metal album. Chris, you rule.
im so happy my fav band got my homie ernie as the drummer! from salimus to suicide silence thats amazing best drummer you guys could have got! coolest dude ive ever known love you ernie!
Saw Suicide Silence in Louisville. Ernie is ridiculous. And he’s absolutely spot on about us drummers. We are in our own world and we all understand each other. It’s a community in music unlike any other.
This made me wanna go back and re-listen to the new record. This dude seems like very new to "metal", like I wouldn't be surprised if he was trained classically or something and not raised on extreme music. If the last album was the "getting adjusted" record, I'm excited to see what the drums might be like on the next one.
