Im absolutely loving this more melodic evolution, not just of Whitechapel, but seemingly deathcore as a whole. It really expands the emotions that can be tapped into by the genre
The whole album is a masterpiece. Lyrically, musically, the concept behind every song, everything is perfect. Ive listened to the whole album more times than i can count and have read all the lyrics. Every song is a emotional roller coaster

Man, Kin is a slow burner for most, but it is absolutely incredible. It should be listened to within the context of The Valley so to follow Phill's story.

I can see why OG Whitechapel fans would be Mixed on Kin. Im a newer fan, discovering the band from The Valley album. Older I get the heavier my music taste becomes. Listened to their entire Discography and this band never disappoints, Although Kin, Overall, is my favorite Record of theirs.
