I love the band and I really dig the new album, it's one of the rawest albums I've ever heard and the songs sound great live.

***** And that's fine of course, I understand it's quite different from their other stuff. I like the album because of how raw it is, it actually sounds the same as a live performance. Check out some of their new songs live, (if you haven't already) they sound really good. I love the way it sounds, the way it was recorded.. it's just great. When I think of the words "Suicide Silence" this albums sound is what I imagine, Eddies vocals are so imperfectly perfect on th3 record. If that makes sense. But I just really respect the hell out of the band because they put out the album they wanted and they're proud of their work and nothing anyone says can change that. Anyways, I'm not expecting to change your opinion, just thought I'd share my thoughts on the record.

I like the new album myself but the new album is more of a "chill music" for me and i guess chill music + a bit of deathmetal wont hurt

lmao yes. Thats Marks signature guitar and Dan Kennys signature bass and chris has his signature guitar too. Chris always breaks his guitar but not his signature they go and buy a bunch of cheap Ibanez's to break. Most of the time they fix them to or keep whats still usable to fix a different one.

pretty obvious that they do fly in dates with their own guitars. i'm assuming that alex gets rentals from his tama rep after he gets overseas though.

Edgy Person it is Suicide silence, and they probably got sick of making and playing the same shit over and over for a decade, even their 3rd album with Mitch started taking a different direction than the first 2. It’s like saying Slipknot isn’t Slipknot when they have 2 albums that are similar while the rest are unique to themselves.
