They're definitely going with Multiverse stuff to bring Joker back... that or Flash is going back in time, doubtful though. With Rocksteady saying the world will be changing constantly, and the concept art of the Jokerized Daily Planet clearly shows to me Brainiac is bringing in a multiverse Joker. I could see them doing the same with Batman to replace Conroy going forward with more "Arkham Games Coming" stated by James Gunn.

@@senatesheev I'm hoping that's what they do for the next BATMAN game. There's so much play in those years after Origins up until Asylum. You can do the origin of every bat fam member over the course of a few games. Also Batmans first time meeting some villains, and Roger Craig Smith, and Troy Baker were phenomenal replacements to Conroy/Hamill. I just see them wanting to continue the Arkhamverse going forward after SS:KTJL, and with the reveal of Joker coming back basically, it's hard to think they're not going to want Batman for this timeline if SS:KTJL is very successful and they want to make sequel games. They're prob just gonna bring in a multi-verse BAtman like they're doin Joker.

My theory is that brainiac was able to find the joker deep inside of batman’s mind and was able to take him out of his mind and create a new body for him but since its joker he does his own thing instead of working for brainiac

This is an interesting theory I’ve seen, where brainiac uses tech to clone all of the justice league, so that we can both kill the justice league, and still have spinoff games with them in it. An interesting theory for sure.

Flawless theory. But according to miller, most of the dead arkham characters (besides ivy) come back through multiverse or time travel stuff. Brainiac in the trailer did say "my justice league" as in his worlds justice league and "this earth" as in parallel earth

A recent story arc in Batman comics had Batman travel across the DC multiverse in pursuit of a Joker, meeting several other Batmen including the Arkham Batman. When asked why Arkham Batman wasn't in the regular bat cave he explains about what happened in the events of the games and that even though they (him and Gordon) cremated The Joker, he somehow came back.

My understanding of that was that when he said he came back, he was referring to the Joker hallucinations that haunt Batman in Arkham Knight. Meaning the Joker was still very much alive in Batman’s mind, at least during the events of AK.

I think it's going to be clayface joker. We never did find out what happened to him after Arkham city. It could be that after his dunk in the Lazarus pit his mind was fractured and he believes he is the joker. So he layed low until he was ready for his big comeback and now he's taking his circus of slaughter on the road to metropolis now that batman has reappeared. This would be amazing especially from a traversal perspective he could grow wings and fly or elongate his body to cover great distance. His fighting style could be unique the unpredictability of the joker mixed with the fluidity of clayface. I just hope it's not the og joker it would cheapen city and knights stories.

If I remember correctly from Knight they said he couldn't reform his body after falling in the pit and they put his form in a tube that was I believe in the Gallery of the GCPD Could be wrong

@@cmike5290 nope he's not in the trophy room in knight. Their is a story that he couldn't reform himself due to the Lazarus chemicals but since suicide squad takes place years after knight and his exact whereabouts are sketchy at best it could still work.

I mean...we have already seen jack rider in the arkham games, maybe somehow he turned all jokery and took over the daily planet. And I remeber him having an obsession over Harley in the TNBA. Honestly I wouldn't dislike it, i always found the character interesting, as long as they don't give him the ridiculous costum he had on the show...we're good.

I really hope the joker isn’t coming back. Since he’s dead it wouldn’t make since. I would be fine if someone else takes up the mantle or his thugs have taken over the daily planet. However, if they bring back the Arkham joker I think that would be extremely disappointing and dumb. It would honestly be them ignoring what happened in the previous games.

I really hope if there is a Joker coming to the game post launch that is Tim Drake because as some may remember he became The Joker in "Batman Beyond." I also hope that Rocksteady will release a roadmap that they know realistic that they can stick to it. Although that is not to say I don't trust them because I know in my heart that this going to be a fantastic game but I just don't want another situation like "Marvel's Avengers" where the developers at Dynamics and Eidos Montreal where they made false promises and fans were ultimately let down.
