Superman was never the focus of the game, and it's almost impossible to make a game around a character that's virtually invincible aside from a handful of even stronger villains. Like, there's enough plot armor in the game already, cause everyone except bats could gore the squad in the blink of the eye.

They've made Wonder Woman the best character in the game, and she's only in cutscenes. Comes in strong, no bullshit, no cringe jokes, no escort missions, no guns, no bullet sponging, fights superhumans 1v1, tries to save the day, dies a hero without getting golden showers

@@nomejodas2978 yeah because Superman should be able to mop the floor with the squad and he doesn’t even do anything. He has multiple opportunities in the cutscenes to just go in and instantly kill them and instead flys away and shoots ice at em. People are going to be frustrated with his (And all league members for that matter) portrayals in the game. Literally 3-5 major boss fights are essentially the exact same.

@akumaranjiro How about *any* of the many thwacks and meaty impacts that have been used for Superman getting hit since he came onto media with sound? There's plenty from Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, or hell, even Arkham games for the many times Batman may strike someone like Bane and get little purchase. There are MANY options you can use rather than a sound effect more fitting a comedy than a story around the killing of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. It's pretty easy to pick anything more fitting than a beach ball.

I mean, is this before they get their guns upgraded with Kryptonite?! I think it's pretty heavy knowledge that they couldn't do anything, even if they tried. Nobody talks about how well they adapted the Justice League into the Arkhamverse? (I'm not referring to their deaths or that they are the villains) . In this game Rocksteady showed that it can do more, they adapted Flash with his powers and personality, Green Lantern with creating things, Wonder Woman with her whip and sword, she also looks like a Greek warrior and the best thing is Superman (SUPERMAN) her story that He tells it through a hologram in the Hall of Justice, he uses his powers, and in a few scenes he had wow "since before several games he had were difficult but here they did it." I hope they make prequel games of them since it has a lot of potential 🙏💙😢

I gotta hand it to the suicide squad, they may have hesitated at first but that fact they where willing enough to stand up against superman in orders to try and save wonder woman shows how much they've grown as characters from their past as supervillains. That takes a lot of courage especially considering that they had no kryptonite to fight him with it was a completely one sided fight.

@@narrowmax7382nah, that's actually how It tends to affect him. It kills him, easily. Same in most continuities. The fact that it didn't here was actually a plot point, braniac altered his physiology dramatically. Even the gold stuff just barely works now.

This game could have been so much better than it is if just a few changes were made. And no, I'm not talking about the stupid shite everyone's talking about where batman is somehow able to resist Brainiacs mind control, because that's just the average batman overwanking that we've been getting for the past 10 years. It's a just a damn shame, because every actor for this game really put everything into it, so with some far better writing they could have truly shined, especially for Deadshot and Harley, who I feel never got the chance to truly push themselves in this game compared to Kingshark and Captain Boomerang.

Finally get Superman & Wonder Woman in the Arkham-Verse & we had to be stuck with these idiots. Also, imagine swapping Wonder Woman for Batman in this game. Better sendoff, & a less generic fight. Sorry my bad. They needed to bring discount Joker into this, so I get it.
