Lucie May that scene take the sense of whole harley quinn life for me basically she just go crazy to follow her love and try to bring him in the sane society
Lucie May it's actually really sad if you think about it. Harley just wants the joker to love her and to have a normal family with him. All except Deadshots fantasy is sad, they all just want normal life's.
I love the row of creepy spirit fetishes twitching and dancing in front of her while she's channeling. I guess she's using them as a conduit. The whole twitchy spell casting ritual dance was bizarre and absolutely perfect for an unhinged Mesoamerican deity.
I liked the voice & movements also. It's just looked awful they voiced over Cara(probably because she can't act.)May as well got someone else to do it.
King I see what you're saying I think the screen play and cinematography is suspect...I mean there is alot going on screen for example enchantress' bodily movements the cuts between shot are too quick...look a the dead shot killing Batman cutaway I had to watch that like three times to grasp the what the director was trying to convey. To me the rest of the cutaways were ok. I get the voice thing they wanted her to appear to be speaking through a body....so I get that effect. but this entire scene seems rushed.
it is a hint that the enchantress spirit may be a african entity: some tribe women from africa do those moves during their ritualistic dances when they are embodied
um Luis the Enchantress and her brother where worshipped by the Myans as Gods! o.o its all over the outfits and the way they adress eachother plus look at her age thts right around the ancient civilizations period! 9000 years ago africa was still crawling out of its caves and wholes! and it was colder backk then too!

Luis Felipe Silva Sampaio Oh I understand ritualistic dances, I'm just saying that it looks out of place. Also, to me she seemed more South American or even Native American than African. Which makes sense when you consider where the idol was found.
Luis Felipe Silva Sampaio Oh I meant that in the movie they actually said at the idols were found in Central America Central America. They even showed the outside of the Mesoamerican temple/pyramid (located Mayan) that June entered. Likewise, the Enchantress' ceremonial (Goddess) garbs seemed to be based on that culture too, particularly those of the Mayans or the Aztecs. Her brother also looks Mayan so there's that.
Actually, it has nothing to do with the Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man. It is actually HOLYwood (wand) magic(K) that goes back many many years and was developed by masters of monarch subliminal illuminati mind-programming tricks and the CIA using a mind-controlled MK-Ultra "kitten-butterfly" (Clara Devigne) to influence the subconscience [sic] of the viewers so that they think they're seeing a demon-possessed woman seemingly randomly flail her arms but their inner third-eagle-eye is being tricked to perceive that "dude zat movie was fucking AWESOME!"
Well that was the point try wanted to make them in away anti-heroes nowhere did they say they were heroes. And if you liked the other DC Movies well Superman vs. Batman didn't hit off to well and neither do slot of DC Live Action Films the Animated ones are better then most of these. Honestly, this movie did revive DC Movies to where they might make another movie similar to this. Thus is why you need movies that are willing to redeem villains and I can see you eggheads don't get it and you must not be mature enough to understand. Also Harley and Joker have been shopped together several times in the comics mostly just as working buddies, but it's great to see them actually having a past together and for those who just saw this movie as crap gtfo then it clearly wasn't the movie for you especially if you don't have a bad side. 😒👎🖕
Came here after just watching the Nostalgic Critic review where they mock how she moves, so I had to come look it up and see for myself, and OMG she really DOES move like that! LOL XD
Na man u fight with a squad of people that have your back that saves ya life more then once they become your family. Also look at it like this if nobody died they all wouldve been sent on another mission together
Alec Nguyen Katana wasn't needed either. The way flag gave her back story was just a slap in the face to both the viewers and the actress that played her.
Deadshot: "Go get her Flag!" Rick Flag: "Enchantress! Good evening, as a duly representative of this city, I order you to seize any supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin, or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension. Also, while we're on the subject, I would really appreciate it if you gave me my girlfriend back please!" Deadshot: "That oughta do it, thanks very much Flag." Enchantress: "Are you a god?" Rick Flag: "No..." Enchantress: Then... DIE!!!!!!!!!! *Enchantress zaps the Suicide Squad* Deadshot: Flag... when someone asks you if you're a god, you say YES!
no!!! batman and robin was garbage, the fantastic 4 was garbage; those films(BvS and SS) had great moments in their theatrical version, the problem was editing!!! BvS ultimate edition was a great film and SS has the potential to be great too in the extended version!!
Why's every body saying she acts so bad?? I think she's pretty good actually especially in this part 4:19 and the dancing part?? It's not cringey it's not out of place, ithink it's mesmerising to watch and she's an ancient god or something so ofc but I think that's pretty cool
I love it on 1:59 when enchantress said step out of the light I won't bite and Harley is like OK and then dead shot just grabbed Harley and put Herbert to him that bit is funny
She was functional as a character with enough motivation and somewhat interesting backstory, but her acting, her costume design (except when she looked like Gollum), her dialogue, her dancing, her modulated voice, her dialogue, especially her dialogue was terrible. Really the only good scene with her was when Waller introduced her to the gov officials.
So that vision enchantress give to Harley, does that meant Harley wanted a normal life wit Joker ?? Deep down maybe? I mean sometimes is crazy what woman had to do for love. I had a crazy intense relationship with my ex but when our unplanned daughter came I knew we needed to change, he didn't agreed. Can't be running around the house doing crazy things to each other, fighting etc with a child present... right normal has to come at some point.
Cheese factor is sky high. You really can't look at it as a real movie. It's that movie that teenagers say 20 years from now "check out this silly crap that Will Smith guy played in near the end of his career".
+BadGirl42886 can't argue with love. So much stuff I love can be perceived as corny or cheesey. As long as u enjoy it, keep it up. I just post on this movie at times due to being let down but it's not hate. Just frustration. Love it for me Badgirl.
