I find it so creatively juvenile that each elseworld is just themed around the character you recruit. Like Joker's just a guy, so why did Brainiac destroy his world and make it look like Joker took over? Why does the Mrs. Freeze world have to be frozen like she was responsible? They could have created unique apocalyptic scenarios, but I guess they met their worldbuilding budget or something.

We like watching videos about Suicide Squad because it's a hilarious trainwreck. It's fun to laugh at failed live service games, simple as.

We have to give the devs the benefit of doubt and assume the remaining skelleton crew manning this ship are all actually subcontractors from the southern hemisphere, where the winter theme is on point.

Primary reason I don't like Concord? Because all characters on that game look on par with this Mrs. Freeze. The gameplay being bad actually comes second to why Concord sucks to me.

Man, I sure hope Rocksteady Games does a Superman based game as their new single player experience. Fans of the Arkham series have been wanting a Superman game from Rocksteady since Batman Arkham Knight.

You know Squad is kinda like one of those trainwrecks you can't look away from... I sometimes feel that is a good way to describe seeing terrible games like these pop up. We all know their bad but it just can't help but look at it and pick apart everything that wrong with it. The biggest reason we probably do that in the first place is to understand what went wrong and how it could be stopped or if it can't be stopped an alternative to said events that could be of benifent or lessen the blow.

I could smell this even back when the game was announced, so "I've told you so" is very pertinent, and yet now-a-days this expression has close to little meaning mostly cuz of the huge number of cases... (meaning, fairly easy prediction, easier than guessing the weather in 2 days time lol) no one sets out to make a "stinker", unless they are rushing to the toilet that is... but the truth is, stuff might be worth money, but moneys is only worth money, if you are chasing it for the sake of it, it will show and people are not going to give it more value than it's worth... lol _oxymorony_ sure, but if this were to be a free-to-play title maybe would have turned out differently, but given the studio legacy, competences, games industry climate, bad decision making, misguided goals, and complete disconnect w/ audiences it blows my mind how more than half of games get to be greenlit at all.. XD

here's a tip to grind episode rank: Play a bunch of "killing time" the exp you get scales with the mission time. the longer you last. the more exp you get

Same guns as everyone else? Everything should be ice themed for her. Ice beams, thermal grenades, ice shards acting as bullets, fist melee with the same enhancements from the suit, and some kinda ice based aoe attack where she releases a super cooled gas cloud around her. Ice barriers so she can act as kinda a team support character, shooting her gun below her to launch up for a jump whether it be beam propelled or an ice pillar, and it would be cool if when she's ice surfing the sections behind her can fall onto and stun enemies below. Or maybe they melt and magnify electric based attacks from the team by getting the enemies below wet.

I agree with a lot of your sentiments, but using the idea of a winter season coming out in summer as some sort of point about how bad the game is is really petty and dumb. Who cares when it releases, as long as it's fun. And this does sound like a bit more fun than the last season.

What's a bummer is that there are going to be knuckle draggers who point to this game, which has been a disaster since jump street, and say that this is proof positive that women and LGBT representation makes games crappy. Nah fam. Everything about KTJS has been shitty long before this. Like, Killer Frost could have been dope. An Elseworld where Nora became Mrs. Frost and Victor was frozen could have been dope. Hell, a gay Victoria Fries could have been dope. But not from this game. Those concepts could have been cool from a game that wasn't a soulsucking, lifeless husk of corporate ineptitude. A woman character isnt the problem. A gay character isnt the problem. This stupid effing game is the problem.

Honestly the only reason I’m gonna play next season is because I’ve been wanting a character with ice powers that skate around like frozone for the longest and Mrs. Freeze gen to it. I’m just gonna pretend her story doesn’t exist. I know the game is just gonna give us a 2 minute cutscene and 2 minute comic origin thing

I mean this is literally how he moves about in the comics and the 80s and 90s cartoons they straight up ripped it out of him, I wonder if marvel can claim a breach of rights (I don’t know if its trade marks or copywrong I suspect it’s copywrong as while iceman Bobby Drake is a brand it’s a visual think of his and is more likely to be copywrong). I also know there isn’t a snowballs chance in hell of getting that argument to stick in legal but it would be funny if this game also got a last minute beatdown from Disney forcing them to change her travel mode.
