This is sooo false. Videogame reviewers will give a 9/10 to any piece of shit on the market, a 7/10 is usually complete trash especially considering the money you have to pay for it
The worst thing about Starfield, is that it's now in the rotation of games they develop, making the wait for another Fallout and Elder Scrolls even longer.
Gta is not a good example tho. It’s the only game where I don’t think ppl will complain about 130 bucks version. It’s gta 6 , everyone been waiting on it. GTA 6 can do whatever they want and ppl will follow myself included
No matter the DLC's, what they add. Starfield problem is not the lack of content. Dialogues are awful. I love to read the lore in general but Starfield is doing such a poor job I skip literally 90% of the dialogues. Oh and I don't like to have 5 loading screens to do a 10 minutes side quest. In 2024 this is just unacceptable. I don't care if this is Bethesda recipe. Just change it then. Shattered Space will not change that. Starfield has a core problem no fixes, no mods can change. I would say the game is a 6/10. With good dialogue and no loading screen it could have been a 8 or 9 easily. Shame.
6/10 - could be fun for a bit 7/10 - buy if you like this type of game 8/10 - best kind of game of this type 9/10 - buy it even if you don’t like this type of game usually, just that good 10/10 - life changing
With Starfield is was kinda ok cause it was on Ganapass. So you only had to spend 35 bucks if you really wanted everything and couldn’t wait. Not that it was worth it. 😂 like Most games these days it’s really not worth it playing at day one. Better wait a year or two until it’s mostly finished. 😁

Everywhere you look they say that the party size has been reduced to 3. I know that technically at the start here one you exit the portal you have 3 people with you. But I had the impression that was just because this is the opening of the game. So the third character almost works like the party members in rebirth. There but not doing anything. Is that not right and the party size will be 4?
I like how you can be a hybrid class, The character i put hours into on skyrim was a battle mage short sword and spell caster so i think ill do something similar to that.

The real issue comparing Hellblade 1's success to Hellblade 2 is: who ever played Hellblade 1 fucking knew what they were signing up to, and whoever was down to it just loved the game. It just flew over the majority of people's radar. So, success right? Hellblade 2 was hugely advertised as Unreal's golden girl, so it was on everyone's radar. Ninja Theory was as clear as water on what this game was going to be, but since it was so popular people was just covering their ears and was like bla bla bla, I don't care. I'm not listening, it's triple A, it's massive it must meet standards that no one ever said it was going to meet. And the amount of people who played this but never played Hellblade 1, and now want to get invested in the story and the game's feel? Oh boy. And even so, the game is standing on a 87% positive review on Steam. It did well on Xbox. So was it really a failure? I believe most comments we read on social media about games nowdays are from people who spend the majority of their time watching streams and watching videos about games - and reporducing their favorite influencer's opinion. If they say a game flop, then they believe it floped and say so on youtube's comment section. But I dont think most of them experience the game for themselves, I think they watch the game on Twitch. The reason why I think this is? Games are expensive, consoles are expensive, PCs are even more expensive and capitalism is under a huge recession. People are fucking poor right now. But these same people can afford phones and last gen consoles. So they play what they can and consume everything else through their phones. Ant that's it.

I love character creators. Fable never needed one though. They still allowed a lot of customization and tailoring for your characters appeareance. Hopefully it still does but probably doesnt. Fables are so cool but always underwhelm. Maybe this one will finally hit the mark.
A 10/10 should be reserved for only the most unbelievably remarkable games. Seeing a game get a 10 should invoke a feeling similar to seeing a Tyrael's Might drop in D2. Sadly, this isn't the reality and instead games ratings are more closely mimicking the way women approach the dating scene where any man less than an 8 is dogshit.
Alot of the times the cost to make a game goes up due to micro managing and general incompetence, like SSKTJL. WB Wanting to break even is greedy because they deserved nothing less than financial disappointment
Its obvious you are very confused on this whole situation. Marathon was never meant to appeal to Destiny fans. Its an entirely different genre of game. There is a reason why a year ago they brought in Tarkov players like Landmark to play test the game. When asked how they thought about the game, not a single person liked it.
I'm super impressed by this game so far. I'm not a fan of Ubi, I hate Valhalla, and I think Yasuke is not the best of choice - not because he's black, I don't give a fuck about that. But because every samurai media ever pushes to portrait a character out of the norm, like shinobi, ronin, foreigner, etc. They never let you play a samurai who partake in ALL of feudal japan ridiculous amounts of rites, costumes and politics. But as I said, other than that, the game is looking amazing. I'll never ever pre-order, nor pay more to play in advance, or to access cosmetic bs. But I'm looking towards playing this thing. And this is the first time I'm commenting this in social media. So yeah.
So if it has no character creator, I will be very worried for the game. It has absolutly nothing to do with the protagonist being a female or an unattractive one or whatever. It has to do with the game identity itself. Imo fable has always been a choose your own story book rpg that promised so much when it came to the world and the player characters changing throughout the game based on your choices. So to remove the character creator is way different. Or almost blasphemous. Lol Just my opinion
