I feel a "handshake" event would run the risk of getting the talents sick, I mean I've been to at least two conventions both times I got sick because of visitors and convention goer's not washing their hand or coming while sick. as a Vtuber Manager i feel this type of event could harm the talent more than the good it would bring.

Having a 1:1 conversation in a meet n greet even though it's through a screen would be amazing. Actually talking feels different than sending a message and the talents are safe from 'risks' that are present in a face to face meet n greet situation.

Honestly being able to communicate with them seems more than enough, I always find physical handshake concerts to be uncomfortable unless it's between someone you have communicated with before. Well. Leaving aside the question whether they should at all, they could have her react to the person by having some her vtuber model react to the person she's shaking hands with. Not perfect, might require too much setup and break immersion regardless but possible.

Is that not one of the pros for a virtual vtuber? Safety for any physical interaction? Also we get concerts or events where we can meet them, they as virtual and us in physical venue. Have you seen recordings of how much their fans were crazy for them? Everyone wants closure, but I think handshakes can come with a lot of issues. Also how many handshakes a day each idol will do? They are no means a little famous, how many Japanese and overseas fan will come? How and handshakes and a greeting? And maybe a sign? Per person? 100? 1000? 10,000? That sure is a lot of money! Also is it reservations? Or the highest bidder? Or too expensive to reduce the number of people? Or just first serve-stay in line basis? And if they do they gotta have restrictions and rules of this event. Also…..since they need to keep their person anonymous, how will you know its them? For all you know it could be a random person? Before even starting the video: The very concept makes me very concerned and uncomfortable. The safety and well-being of my oshi is the most important thing to me(I ain't no damn gachikoi) and this is a HUGE line crosser in my eyes. I would not want this for the talents, at all.
