Here’s a basic sukiyaki recipe for you:
Ingredients:
250g thinly sliced beef (preferably ribeye or sirloin)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup dashi stock (you can use instant dashi powder mixed with water)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 napa cabbage, sliced into bite-sized pieces
1 bunch of enoki mushrooms, roots trimmed off
1 block tofu, cut into cubes
2-3 stalks of green onions, cut into 2-inch lengths
2-3 eggs, beaten (optional)
