I didn't even calibrate wtf was going in this remaster. No hate to the animators, but if they had more adequate time to draw out their ideas, then it would've looked a lot better (instead of a bunch of smeared lines, shapes, and special effects). Yuji vs. Choso was the best fight this season. In fact Yuji vs. Choso is one of the best fights I've ever seen period.

Ohh fr even with the old gen shonens. Sukuna really reminds me of madara when he first appeared. An absolute menace who just does everything he wants following his own ideal. Hope sukuna won't end up being butchered like madara with the kaguya bs but reading the manga now its kinda going that way sadly.

The animation team is doing a great job with the fights in JJK. It's one of those shows that's best watched in anime form unlike some others (One Piece, OPM, SpyXFamily) where the manga is overall better.

@@rayz7899 the anime kinda "animefide" certain characters like the mom/assassin. For me the anime just feels a bit cringe sometimes with certain character expressions, while in the manga you don't feel it as it maybe just takes 1 panel etc.

On the contrary, I think they were. More specifically, I'd guess that they'd assumed Sukuna having a viable vessel at all that he can even potentially take control of for any amount of time would inevitably lead to him at least finding a way to regain a large chunk of his strength quickly and pull something like this at the bare minimum, with a full-powered revival being all too likely. Killing Itadori on the spot would've been the simplest, quickest, and least risky way to deal with the problem in the short term, whereas Gojo's plan would potentially deal with the problem permanently but was also outlandishly risky.

Megumi had no reason to expect Sukuna to come to his rescue other than a vague feeling that Sukuna was active. Mahoraga would have disappeared as soon as the blonde dude died but Sukuna saved him as well. Yes part of the blame does go to Megumi for summoning mahoraga but there was little to no reason for him to expect this to happen at all

megumi couldn’t have known this would happen because normally mahoraga would have disappeared after killing haruta because the ritual would have ended but because sukuna manifested and saved haruta at the last second mahoraga was able to go on a rampage

He's probably saved dude to the zenin family's influence. He's one of the rare 10 shadows users. Executing him is like losing their Gojo. Since they're one of the strongest clans, it wouldn't be hard for them to step in and influence the decisions of the higher ups.

Well it's the main villain fighting a strong opponent. Not really much emotionally you can get attached to. Not every fight should have emotional stakes. We already saw that with the mahito fights. No one cares about emotional stakes in a fight between Frieza and jiren😂

Production wise, yeah mappa fumbled hard af. Quality of animation? Nah. Igris fight wasn't 1/3 the length of the sukuna fight. Great fight, but there was 1000x more work in this. And it shows.
