Hürrem blames Suleiman embittering the fight between Selim and Bayezid. As Bayezid chases up the ones who has set a trap for him, Selim gets worried that he'll get disclosed. Suleiman confiscates Mahidevran's wealth because she has supported the revolt. Hürrem brings Selim to account after she learns that he has set the trap for Bayezid. Meanwhile, Fatma plays Nurbanu and Huricihan off against each other and turns the harem upside down. Suleiman orders that Kara Ahmed will be executed since he has taken up the revolt. Someone witnesses Gazanfer's love for Nurbanu that causes to be shed blood. Hürrem takes a vow to not to choose between his sons and chooses her nominee for throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

@priyankatanwar9999 I don't think a lot of Mustafa/Ibrahim supporters get. Their laws, traditions, and religion allowed this kind of environment. Sultan Suleiman himself was an oddball. He was one of the first to allow his Valide to use the Sultan title as no one who didn't have the dynasty blood could do so. Then he allowed his wife to do so, creatung a new title for her. Freeing her even. 🤷🏿‍♀️ The trades and laws he encouraged were supported becaise of this power he kept and wielded wisely against his enemies. There's no way anyone would be sshowing off this pride if he wasn't a good leader. 😂

Hurrem always spoke with facts! Suleiman wanted to put all blame on her, but she shut him down in most powerful way-the Truth! She never denied her guilt, but she made him realize HIS own guilt too. Because at the end of the day- NEITHER of them were fully innocent: neither Suleiman, nor Hurrem, nor Mustafa. ✋🏼🔥

If we admit Suleiman did all that in influence of hurrem It's not true Suleiman was envious of Mustafa He knew if he talk to him Mustafa probably would prove himself right as he was always. All the other princes would've been beheaded (maybe not by him but his mom or even other pashas). Could be that he was mad at him for not stopping the people who called him "the next sultan" which he should have done 'cause it was betrayal not to.

I am shocked that Hurrem so calmly admitted participation in Padisah’s son’s murder, not fearing that Suleiman would execute her on spot, even if he was the one most guilty. It’s nice to hear that Suleiman the Magnificent who had hundreds beauties in his palace, chose a woman with brains over passing beauty and stayed loyal to Hurrem even after her death.

Bcz it was Ottoman's tradition they always chose the most attractive, smart slaves and concubines to serve the royal family. It's a part of their luxurious lifestyle. The most interesting thing about Hürrem's whole speech is realizing that, right after it, that witch hatun returns at least part of the essence of it right back to her when discussing how one of her sons will kill the other, "One of the princes will be killed on the orders of Sultan Suleiman. Suleyman knows he’s the main reason mustafa died but of course it’s hard to admit it that’s why he’s looking for someone else to blame too since the guilt is killing him. He suspected mustafa many times before killing him and his mere life was a threat to his throne so hurrem’s scheme was just the cherry on top. The fact that he just executed him without investigating or even confronting him is completely his fault and i hope hurrem’s answer made him realize that. Someone had to tell him that if he didn’t want something to happen, he wouldnt have let it happen

I feel sorry for Suleiman. He is not heatless. But he was influenced by the people surrounding him. Every time he killed his close person, he had to face a strom afterwards, out side and inside. And, amongst all of them Mustafa's death was the worst. It gave him pain every day and night like slow poison as Mustafa was his own blood. I believe he badly wanted to undo it, but unfortunately not possible.

No matter what/who/how he was 'influenced', Süleyman had the final decision. He's not a new to the game. By this point was an experienced, powerful, Sultan. No matter what he is no child that can be easily manipulated, he has his own mind and incredible capacity to make his own decions irrespective of anyone else. So, no, the final decision is HIS. You must be joking. Sure she tried to influence him. Try being the key word. But he never did anything he didn’t want to do. He could have stopped her at any point but instead he continually elevated her. He was the sultan and all the authority was his.

@@BriChuhime-sama Eh, I would hesitate to call Mustafa a traitor or even a martyr (to represent other opinions I've seen) in the end. He made one big mistake with the Janissaries, which put all of his other deeds under close observation, but those other actions probably wouldn't have stood out so much if not for Jannissaries and other factors (such as Suleiman's understandable paranoia). The circumstantial evidence was pretty damning, so I can absolutely understood why Suleiman acted, but, overall, I doubt Mustafa would have rebelled (he didn't need to).

@@Redluna32 well there were a few things that were signs of a traitor sehzade. Like growing his beard. Growing a beard was something only the padisah was allowed to do. There were other signs that i dont remember but he was technically really a traitor

@@hayhay8915 So, I don't know where you heard this, but Mustafa's beard had absolutely nothing to do with accusations of treason. Instead it had everything to do with that, while Suleiman was ill, members of the Janissary Corp rebelled against the orders from the sultan's representative to go pay tribute to the popular Mustafa. When the şehzade, unfortunately, didn't turn them away but rather rewarded them, this caused everything to unravel. I'd recommend reading Zahit Atçıl's essay "Why Did Süleyman the Magnificent Execute His Son Şehzade Mustafa in 1553?" if you really want to know the reality behind what happened (seriously everyone, this thing is so easily accessible).

Because she was correct!! If he didn't want Mustafa to die, Mustafa wouldn't have died!!! He ordered that death, he sat there and watched his son be executed, not hurrem, yes she has power, but she's merely his shadow, all power remains with suleman.
