Seems to me that its TIME for US to start making our own "sulfur grease". HERE IS MY RECIPE: sublime sulfur, green blue magic, peppermint essential oil and castor oil ✊🏾💪🏾👩🏾🔬🧖🏾♀️
This may be why I saw some ppl complain that the Doo GRO/Sulfur 8 concoction actually DAMAGED their hair versus making their hair grow. The concoction actually gave me and my daughter a headache so I cannot use the mix anymore (which caused me a coin). Sulfur 8 has definitely changed their ingredients. It doesn't feel the same on my scalp anymore. Long story short, our society is making a profit on BLACK hair care. Back in the day, you would see ONE aisle for black hair care, now you have aisles packed to capacity with companies who initially specialized in white hair care now making products for black hair. I'm not trusting it. So I will stick to making my own shea butter mix. Gives me the same sealing benefits of grease. I'll let my hair grow from my scalp at its own rate.
@@beulahwhite4137 I’m so sorry to hear what’s happening with your hair 😔 Well, I’ll list the ingredients I use for my personal Shea butter mix. Of course, just know these are the things that work well on my 4c hair, but it may work for you or you may be able to use it as a starting point for your own personal mixture! Unrefined Shea Butter Organic Avocado Oil Castor Oil Olive Oil Tea Tree Oil Lavender Oil (I like the smell) I melt the Shea butter and then eyeball all the other ingredients (but I’m heavier on the avocado oil because my hair loves it) and mix into a container. I then place the container in the fridge to return the Shea butter to a more solidified form. However, my mixture is the perfect consistency for me- creamy but not runny. I even use this Shea butter mix on my skin! I hope this helps you. If all else fails, try using Shea butter alone (you can purchase the creamy Shea butter) and see how your hair reacts. Then you can slowly start adding other oils that your hair reacts positively to so that you can find the perfect mix for you.
@@beulahwhite4137 Also, if your hair is falling at an alarming rate, I strongly encourage you to speak with your healthcare professional just to ensure there are no internal problems that are causing the hair loss. Topical solutions are great, but eating healthy and drinking plenty of water is more vital. Take care 🤗
@@beulahwhite4137 Hi, if you're losing hair that fast it could be from medications, stress insomnia, hormones, endocrine system, adrenal glands, allergic reaction to something or a vitamin & or mineral deficiency, dehydration, not enough protein in your diet or could be horrible ingredients in hair products and food. Good luck you you I wish you well.❤
I always talk about how we put way to much of our business out there because you know they watching! Part of the reason why I decided not to do a page, I like privacy. Our hair will grow regardless of what they try to do!
Exactly isn’t it funny how all these big brands keep copying them trends naturals, Ayurvedic or black people used. someone told me on RU-vid that they supposedly “don’t give a d*mn about us” ye right, I had to tell them that they BEEN watching us since they arrived at the motherland.
The point is RU-vidrs need to stop hyping product this is not the first time this has happened to to the products that people with natural hair or Blacks use.
Coco Noir that is true but what I also learned from making products myself some ingredients are too strong to make up most of a product for example tea tree oil . But what would help if they would eliminate the unnecessary like mineral oil
@@mom2ivory You only need 2 to 5% to treat dandruff and other mild skin conditions. Shampoo you may need more. It is drying so the highest recommended is 20%
Sis yes I believe that happened with Eco styler, Shea moisture, and Cantu as well from personal experience. I didn’t do much research but i definitely felt the difference in my hair. I used to love these products so much. Now I’m getting into making my own.
I’m with you sis on that making your own products that way you’ll know what’s in them. I don’t understand why a black owned businesses are selling out , 1I would like to know why a business is making money for you making generational wealth for yourself and your family why would you sell it . I think they are making them sell the businesses. I would hate to go into business have my own product and I’m forced to sell it 🧒🏽
It’s sad that companies change formulations. Shea Moisture is famous for this. The problem is that they sell these companies and they change the formulas using cheaper ingredients and raise up the price. SMH.
Salicylic acid is aspirin. It dilates blood vessels and allows more blood and nutrients to get to the hair follicles. Sulfur kills bacteria that live on the scalp. Bacteria that may cause scarring to the follicles and inhibit hair growth.
I agree with all you said. They have changed the ingredients in alot of products for people of color. Not to change the subject but noxzema is one also, Mane and tale shampoo and conditioner and soft sheen hair cream. One of the sisters mentioned stop telling what helps our hair grow. I agree let's make more DIY products that helps people of color. And be just as successful in our communities.
Amen ! They Knew people would not buy as in the past I use pure tea tree oil and pure olive oil and coconut oil with a little glycerin pure glycerin and my hair stays healthy and growing (4c) KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
Mane and tale horse shampoo. I would get if from the pet section 10 years old. It worked wonders. Now it’s some mess… Any product we use are subject to change.
This is why, as I have found out, imo, whenever you come across something great and it is working to help you in whatever it is(diet, skin, hair, health, etc) its like you have to be very, very careful in spreading it to others. Why? Because of this very thing here. Now sulphur 8 has been around for generations, same with Glover's Mane. Idk why they are changing it; maybe other kind of people are using it, but even still why go and change the ingredients? If they liked it as it was then keep it. Just make more. But i guess to expand like that it takes more so they felt they had to find another ingredient to use to expand. Idk. But its hard because you want to tell others things to help them but when you put it out in the media(using any of the forms) it gets back to the makers of the product and then they destroy it. (sigh) smh. So how do you help people? I guess just word of mouth but it will still get out online.
Since we ,as THE CHOSEN PEOPLE of the scriptures, have found something that works good for us and it's being broadcasted, the "industry" turns it around and makes it bad or expensive for us,sometimes even both😑
I have 9 daughters an 1 son an I've been using my grandmother's hair grease recipe for 41 yrs she called it pot ash grease. I'm bout to start selling it cause all my friends love it😊 an it grows hair all my daughter's have very thick long natural hair down their back from my sulfur hair grease hair.💯💯💯😎I'll keep y'all posted on my bigger success in life😊
You Pop up in my feed, I was interested in what you had to say... A Child of the Most High just subscribed!😊💕 Thank you for this info. Stay encourage, God's blessings to you Sister.🙏🏿 Ps.... I've noticed that companies have been doing this once we've given them publicity.! That's why I gotta learn to make my own products.😕..smh
They do not want us to have hair! They see BW growing out our hair and these company researchers see that our hair is flourishing, they either switch up the ingredients (to make our hair fall out i.e. Wild Hair Growth Oil) or they change ownership/hands i.e. (Shea Moisture). This is why I stick to a couple of products (Mane and Tail) hair grease, Hawaiian Silky Hair Grease and Castor Oil. I don’t even bother with any other products any more (with the exception of Aphogee’s protein line). I prefer to make my own oils (BW) we can easily put these companies out of business if we made our own hair products.
We've been giving these companies FREE promotion by mentioning products on our social medias, and they reap the 💸💰, change the product thinking we're too ignorant to know the difference. !
@@ddee51-g2g2 exactly AMEN, I am buying all these products, plenty of hone hair growth remedies and nothing is paid or beneficial to the group of people targeted to buy this product and honestly you piling up chemical based oil in your scalp and the product formula changes up when "WE" begin using them I remember being so loyol to Shea Moisture products only for it to be sold to another company and the ingredients become weak and work like trash
@@thinblacknoodles Yep.. I noticed that and the advertised models are mostly of a different ethnicity now. So they tell us without words where we stand. Like everyone else has said, we need to wake up and SEE!
I stumbled across your channel and I'm so glad I did. Love your honesty and I've been saying this for years about black hair products. This is what they have done to perms, hair colors, semi-perm hair colors or rinses
Great education for everyone who uses this product. I really appreciate your research. We need more people sharing what they have discovered to others. Great job, good looking out!
I recently bought the Sulfur 8 expecting to feel the menthol... Nada. Nothing. I wish I could find my Nigerian SoulMate brand here in the US. The menthol and sulfur game in that product is strong. But then again, it's probably why most people actually add in Virgin Fertilizer (again another Nigerian product, been around since before I was born in the 90s) to their Sulfur 8 and DooGro mix. At the end of the day, I just wanted some DIY grease. I added JBCO, Shea butter, Wild Growth Oil and Peppermint oil to my mix. I already have MSM in my Spritz water so, I think I'm good. I'm gonna look forward to my results. On the side though, I think the advent of RU-vidrs dishing out their hair secrets is kinda making these companies try to scam us. It's almost as if we need to make hidden chatrooms to share our hair secrets and keep the greedy people out if our pockets.
I was just thinking about that. It’s hard to keep secrets when you are a public figure. These companies be spying lol. Maybe if we stop tagging products
Then maybe I had a different sulfur 8 😳 cause I felt that menthol a lot! I also had the cream but I didn't like the smell but it did help keep my hair moisturized and I retained a lot of length.
Keyana Downer preach. Im a 13 year old boy and my mom wants me to cut it and look at it crazy when I do have it together. I feel like when I go back to school she’s gonna try to make me cut, and that’s where I’m going to put my foot down and tell her no. Idc it’s my hair is not yours, it’s not your life it mine, it not your place it’s mine, it not your Jewelry, appreciation, and apart of you, it’s sort of me, and it’s not your crown it’s mine 👑
I absolutely agree!!! I read that they are doing the same with my favorite wild growth. It's an attempt to discourage our newly found pride and acceptance of our natural hair. It stems from their hate of our skin, ability, strength inner and outer, our endurance, and more then anything our resilience to survive. So since it's like that. I will find a way around it. Where there's a way.
I think it is wonderful that you do not hide from who you serve. It's so hard to find people like that out here nowadays that are genuine. Thank you sister for your continual praise of our God in heaven and that you do it out loud!!!!
I clicked so fast when this came up. Was inspired by Efik Zara's stream last week, so I just bought my first Sulfur 8 in over 12 years (tricholigist advised me to stay clear of lanolin and petroleum). Anyhoo! Checked tub and mine states 'Original Formula' and contains sulfur, so I'm happy and ready to test my tricho's advice 😊
Thank you for that information i just brought clovers because of sores on my scalp, and my Cuzn mixed up some oils in Sulfur 8 and did my hair. It felt so good on my scalp. You are so right, I have alopecia as well.
I’m glad that you took notice of these major companies are selling our hair products to make an multi dollar business on base of our culture needs, and for someone who does not care for our culture wants to do us good now, smh?!? Yes they are changing a lot of those ingredients and formulas that will generate cheaper products to sell to our culture, and now we need to start paying close attention in why they are so interested into making our hair products for our culture. Nobody knows our hair better than we do!! We are making and selling our hair products to fit our culture needs and demands therefore we don’t have to purchase any fake products that they are trying to sell on to us!! Thank you for researching this information and I will share your video to our natural hair community!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Iamhumbleonlybyname B Thank you for sharing my video ❣️ I’m just glad I woke up! I truly want to help others to grow in knowledge and awareness. It hurts. Hundreds of dollars invested into money hungry companies. We deserve better 💪🏾
Twists N Shout, it’s mostly friends and family that’s going natural! My cousin has her own business called Belle Mai on Instagram and we support her natural base products especially for hair and body! Also my daughter is Certified Herbalist, and she had mentioned this information to me all so. Please check out my cousin’s page!😃😃😃
That is so true. I remember when I was younger and my sister told one of our teachers when we were playing outside that “her scalp was burning”. We laugh so hard at it now but looking back, that shit was cooking her scalp. 🤣🤣🤣 it works though.
Ive notice product changes also a few years back. My whole hair changed since my pregnancy 8 years ago. My hair grew long mid back length touching lower part of bra. I keep it cut to shoulder blade for now. My hair was stripping and extremely tangled when wet. It seem like the grays hairs were fighting against the black hairs. Also the itching but i didn't have dandruff. Never had this problem before. I had to completely change my styling products. And the doctors tell you to keep taking vitamins. It took me about 4 years after to get my hair back to a new normal. For example I now use 3 types of conditioners. 2 from tresemme and ORS. I mix a few oils and styling lotions. I kept reviewing different youtubers and talking with family about their routines. I found what works for me. We are our best help.
I’m so glad you found what works. I’m sorting some things out myself! I keep going back to about 10 years ago before being influenced into trying all this new stuff and I had 0 problems with my hair!
This is so true because I have been using liv hair grease on my sons hair for years and it has changed so much that the consistency of it isn’t the same and when I asked the hair store about the change I was told that they are changing how they make it.
We must hold companies accountable for the products that they produce. They probably watered down the formula because it was cheaper. I could be wrong but that’s how I feel.
Thank u! I feel the same way about Softsheen Carson. They got rid of the Breakthru shampoo, conditioner n hair moisturizer which was the only thing I found too keep my hair healthy. Cause I could use the moisturizer everyday since it wasn't heavy. Just up n stopped making it but left the foam 🤷🏾♀️.
Thanks for this Video. Very informative! I used to Sulfur 8 back in tha day when it was the real deal. It had that undeniable smell and actually worked. I’ve noticed they took black Pantene off the market. that was the only black shampoo made for Natural hair that actually worked for me. Now I can’t seem to find a good shampoo. I’ll wash my natural hair and it locks up on me tangled within minutes. If you have any advice please email me. Thanks....
You are absolutely correct!!! I told my mom before that as soon as the black community women start growing there real hair with products we grow up on they change the ingredients or prices double since RU-vidrs start talking about it. Onion an example it's in the news it's not good to throw it out.
Let’s not fail to mention how laws were also being set in place against our natural hair too! We have to continue to educate and inform others on these matters! These companies are more concern with making more money for less and we are the victims
I use it now and I had lots of growth the last few months.I also used Trader Joe's Biotin vitamin and a multivitamin and I was in cornrows.Hopefully I'll have more growth when i take these cornrows again In 2 more weeks.
Might I add Trader Joe just took off their Biotin pills 120 for $8.99.Now they only sell dissolvable tablets..I'll be looking for another brand on Amazon asap!
Everyone is purchasing them now so they want the money.i never thought they changed the product but I did not look at the ingredients either thank you for this information and making us aware of this . I have been using doo grow for a while
this is the perfect time royalty , we gotta start our own businesses for our community. So we can 1 profit , but at the same time serve our community, we can do both!!
My hair grew fast with doo gro and sulfur 8 light grease together. Mixing two conditioners together is good for a short period of time. But now I’m just back to using sulfur 8 by it’s self that soothes my scalp to help my hair grow
These companies are trying to make the products cheaper and I believe that is why they change the formulas. However, they are charging the same prices and lying about the ingredients.
Pantene, when it was a salon product back in 1980. The product was awesome. When they made it for supermarket sell. They changed the formula. It absolutely sucks now for me. Verses when it was sold in the White salons. Ask anyone whom used to be a White Salon owner in the late ,1970's. I'm black with 4c hair. It worked miracles on my hair. It was in a teal bottle with a teal color. But the softness it left your hair and shine. Was amazing.
natural Shea butter, argan oil, black castor oil, almond oil. Rosemary herb boiled and put in spritz bottle. MSM add water put in spritz bottle. I alternate, on the last 2, I mix the oils with the Shea butter. My hair grows.
I've used Sulfur 8 back in the day and it was more stronger even the smell but I start looking at videos because I be thinking I'm tripping, I'm using it now and it doesn't feel the same anymore at all and thankz for the video!
A lot of times companies will water down the product, use less of the main ingredients, change the labels and then showcase the product as "new and improved" I know this to be factual. I once worked in a warehouse where the employees would change labels on tuna cans to make the customer think they are getting a better brand of tuna when it's just all the same tuna.
Liquid Gold Hair Products has oils made with sulfur...and I believe it is a small black owned company. Shapley’s M-T-G (Mane-Tail-Growth) is basically sulfur and is supposed to be excellent for hair growth I believe a lot of companies are not truthful with the ingredients they say their products contain. I just try them. If they work, good. If not, I won’t be buying them again.
I was natural and recently went back to relaxers. I use them every three months... Healthy hair could be any hair. You just have to learn your hair and what is needed to make it grow healthy.
Exactly! When the sponge twisting method first came out, after watching a RU-vid video I got my sponge from O'Reilly Auto. After a couple months I wanted to get another one, an associate told me they stopped selling them for some reason. I went to the beauty supply stores, theirs cost too much and weren't as good as the car washing sponges from O'Reilly's.
I would stick to the regular, original product/formula. My mom used sulfer8 on us when we were kids, I still use it today. However I have added the Nairobi Therapeutic Dandra-Solv grease it which has Salicylic acid in it. My hair isn't responding negative so far
New subscriber, very good, Godly and positive video. I have been looking into making my own oils and I have been growing my grandsons hair so I have some that works. I so glad I found your channel because I have been wasting money on products instead of doing full research on them. I used to use African pride hair fertilizer back in the day and I wish I would have bought it by the cases, it grew our hair in less than a week but now they changed it.
I ,have to tell you , my mom said that when I was baby,I had nice hair there was s spot with no hair. My mom said that a lady told her to use the glover Maine and mix it with Vaseline ,my mom said it made her grow in the bold spot and thick, the glover is liquid,it works,it's really old school And hard to find. Sulfur the old strong stinky one works,if changed it's not for the best . Do you remember the vigrol the shampoo wash , another old school product. You don't need to apologize l thank you. May Our Heavenly Father Bless You
Power to you, I can respect you that you can stand up for what is right. May God be with you. We have the control, they sell to us. We can boycott them. When they mistreat us and we continue to spend with them, they will never respect us. Hit them where it hurt, their pocket/bank. We are keeping them rich.
If you want the real product then go go directly to the company. If the company is not selling it on their website then they should be telling you which stores you can get it from. I do not trust amazon, etsy" eBay or any other shipper for products that i use on my body. True story: young lady purchased Wenn hair product through amazon. Started shampooing her hair and it started coming out in clumps. Really? Be very careful where you purchase from. I bought Wenn hair product but directly from Wenn. Had no problems. And by all means read the labels. S8 is an ole skool staple. Never used it but i do remember the smell. AND DO NOT ADD MSM POWDER TO YOUR HAIR GREASE YOU ARE ASKING FOR TROUBLE! LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE! And stop looking for a quick hair growth scam. Changing products too often will not help you to know if it is for your hair. Just take care of your hair and it will grow. It was not intended to grow 5 feet in a months time.
That's true because i was about to purchase my favorite Dominican deep conditioner "crece pelo," on Amazon until ive read the reviews. Saying the product was a knock off because it didnt smell like the original and the ingredients were different. Some people that didnt notice it was a knock off said the product no longer worked and wasnt any good anymore. Several people even took pictures showing of the ingredients compared to the product at the store vs on amazon. I just went on a head and drove an hour away to purchase. i moisturize my natural hair a week after i do a silk press with vitapoint. Once again, i read every last review from multiple Amazon sellers...tuh, same situation as the crece pelo, except the scent was off and the color was brown and its suppose to be bright white! A few reviewers took pics of bald spots from the cause of the product. I simply just waited until the beauty supply store reopened after the pandemic slowed down(not sallys...can't trust them either) this virus wasn't going to have ne lme make desperate moves from amazon. Lol Glad i waited and didn't take that chance. Amazon is selling knockoffs left and right yall. Smh dont get me wrong i agree with this video and the commentors but amazon is an untrustworthy site. I used to be a prime member on amazon, but not anymore. I always read the reviews. Ridiculous!
Kar Lar We have different opinions on msm. It has been cleared and approved for topical use. I do have a question though , are you against growth stimulators? Or growth promoters? If so may I ask why? I never ever hear any reason before
@@CozyFaith just watched this video and was just about to make the same comment as you regarding MSM! I would love to hear an explanation on her comment about why we shouldn't use it!
christine1962ful yes I’m so disappointed in the fact I never got a response. If I’m not mistaken the Wenn products were a scam from the jump. But msm has been in hair products since 2012/2014 . It’s in a Camille Rose oil . I’ve done my research and of course things vary per person but nothing has surfaced to the point I would tell someone beware
@@CozyFaith Absolutely agree! I have been taking it internally for years. There is no official guidelines concerning its usage ratebrcausrvit carries no contraindications and is considered quite safe to use, however, there are recommendations of how much to use.
Let’s put it this way sisters let’s find a way to keep it in our community so we get the real products we the Blacks have always been moneymakers for the white hand
Thanks for this video. These companies are creating patents for synthetic versions of natural ingredients. The synthetic versions generate money for these companies. Every time a manufacturer changes the packaging the recipe has changed. Let’s stop buying products and make the things we need at home. I don’t buy any products for my hair and skin AND it doesn’t take a lot of money or time
after things become popular in the black hair community, others will buy the company and change the formula so they can make money quickly during the hype while pocketing the savings by having reformulated with cheaper products. BE WARNED: as soon as the ownership changes, the reformulation starts and the product is no longer worth buying
The doo grow ,sulfur 8 and black Castro , do work for me I mix all three to gather and use it on my hair, been useing it for about 4 weeks now and it work for my hair and my cousin I really see a difference, my hair is thicker and longer!!!❤️
I also heard that they were changing the ingredients in glovers mane by taking out the pine tar and or lowering the amount in it. I read to check the ingredients if u buy it to make sure it’s in the product u buy because it’s one of the main ingredients in glovers that promotes and stimulates hair growth
I love how you say ‘suffer’ as apposed to ‘sulphur’ (did anyone else notice that) but I did take note as I use this as part of my mixture with herbal oils and black castor oil for my hair. 😂🤣👍🏽🇬🇧
At first, this seems hard to believe but it happened to me with a scalp grease called 'Virgin' and it is not as well-known, but around 5 years ago, it started getting more popular, then I noticed they immediately changed the ingredients and I no longer buy it.
I see us going back to basics. Basically making our own products. Shampoo and soap wasn't commercial sold until the 1900. Every one made their own before.
I grew up using Glovers Mane, Sulfur 8, and others I forgot the names..Sometimes these products are hard to find..When I find these products I buy many bottles..Thanks for sharing..❤❤❤❤
My friend buys her natural butter from Africa. I told her next time she gets some to get some for me. My sister noticed my hair always looked dry and started to break. I definately put it down to the products they have been missing with. I now go to the asian shop where they sell their hair oil for their people because I know they will not tamper with it!
We are all going to have to get into doing it ourselves, unfortunately. I just got done last night looking at a video I happened upon where the women was using several herbs that she blended together and mixed with some oils and then let it sit for a while and its some hair grease, basically. So then to come online today and see "this"? (sigh). Smh So im going to look into making that later on and using something as natural as can be, cause, sheesh.
@@CozyFaith 2 years, no side effects. I'm a nurse and wouldn't use anything to mess me up.. I recommending to patient with joint issues..helps with flexibility, pain take it with vic to increase absorption and for collegan production. Collegan keeps the skin looking young. I would suggest smaller doses then increase. Drink plenty of water , it can give headaches
I take take 5MG of MSM every day with a lot of water. You should take it during the day. Blue Magic combined with Castor Oil, Liquid Botin is good too or Doo Grow/Sulfur 8/Castor Oil.
Ingredients change for many reason: Availability, new knowledge about ingredients that could be harmful, and many consumers have allergies, sensitivities, and support vegan products. I use Sulfur 8, when I tried to get it at Walmart I noticed it looked different and immediately went to the ingredients list. Im not disappointed. It is very expensive where I live so I will be making my own
@@CozyFaith Yes instead of mineral oils which tend to be pore clogging they used shea and cocoa butter. I do prefer the sulfur instead of the salicylic acid, in terms of growth in don't think they can do the same thing. Salicylic acid does control oiliness and exfoliate and perhaps keeps down microbes. Lanolin is another one that is derived from sheep, many ppl prefer vegan products. I don't mind this particular one though. You mentioned mixing MSM in another response, but it is just another form of sulphur which is probably why it works even better - you are adding more overall sulphur content which could dry out the hair or irritate the scalp. Now whether it works better in the MSM form or pure sulphur idk. I will be making a two hair pomades with each of them to find out. I don't know if the product is being replaced overall though, it could have been the pandemic.
@@CozyFaith oh I saw the new product for nearly $9 the older one is nearly half the price or less, but the price is justified. I live in the Caribbean so shipping etc. wouldn't be worth it for less than 4 oz.
@@Spokentruths725 And that is where the issue is. When a person expands and gets larger and larger to sell across a nation or countries they have to get a factory. Then to "save" money and all these other things(your investors, stock holders, etc) you have to 'play the game' everyone else is saying because to mass produce it you have to "stretch" the product so that you have enough. (Smh) You have to go and put in fillers and mess and still label it as legit(which it no longer is) to sell it everywhere. Its like if you sell it do NOT go for big growth. It will ruin your product. Such a shame.
So what am I suppose to be looking for in the Sulfur 8 and the Mega Thick Doo Gro? I just want clarification and that I know what to look for as far as the ingredients. Thank you
I have never used the Glovers Mane Grease, I have always used the Glovers Mane Liquid, which now have just the Sulfur and not the pine and tar added but it smells the same.
Sulfur 8 and Glover's mane will absolutely grow your hair. I have been using this formula off and on it does grow your hair. Now they are hard to find.
I've never known Sulphur 8 as a "hair growth" product. I've only known it to be used to relieve dandruff, dry and itchy scalp and it always had salicylic acid as it's active ingredient . Maybe the relief of your scalp being dandruff free helps your hair to grow🤷🏾♀️
Your right it's definitely not like it used to be. I'm 55, and used for years off, and on. I bought some a coupla months ago it's says original, but I remember the smell being stronger. I loved it on my itchy scalp right after washing my hair. I even pressed my hair with it.
PTL sister, I'm not a pharmacist or doctor or anything like that but acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) is a pain reliever (NSAID) aspirin. One of the major companies producing it is Bayer, sulphur being a by-product oil (petroleum) and gas. Pricing for this stuff has apparently gone up and become very lucrative for international trade to other countries who may use it for making black gun powder, insecticides, fertilizers etc...aspirin is much cheaper...we must be as wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.
Yes we called it aspirin(ASA). I believe it is in the drg nrsg book...my mom use to put crushed aspirin in her hair grease bcuz its an topical analgesic.
Sis, thank you for your insight and your info.. it may be a good idea to use notes with talking points so you don't constantly ramble and go off-script and off- message. We would really like for you to share your experiences, viewpoints and recommendations without being all over the place😊
