Wow, thanks for sharing your very well made video. An excellent selection of high quality food at reasonable prices, compared to rip-off UK.

Nurimaro is called Marshmallow Fluff in the US. Some people (me, not so much...) make a sandwich out of the Fluff and Peanut Butter, spread on soft white bread. 😯

Ah, so it's called 'Marshmallow Fluff'! Pairing it with peanut butter instead of chocolate sounds great 👍 That does sound delicious! I'll have to give it a try sometime 😊 Thanks so much for sharing!

Hello and thank you for your comment! I often feature Ito-Yokado in my videos because it has a wide variety of products that I find enjoyable. While I do visit other supermarkets, they are usually not part of the larger chains, but I believe you can still have a fun experience with the selection and freshness that are quite similar across the board. Depending on the region of Japan you're in, you're likely to find larger supermarkets like Aeon, Life, Seiyu, Izumiya, Uny, and Ito-Yokado nearby. Each of these offers a great shopping experience with a good range of products.

Appreciate your concern! Just to clarify, the materials used for cooking in this video are specifically designed for microwave use, meeting Japan's strict safety standards to ensure no harmful substances are released during heating. Japan has robust regulations, including a Positive List System, ensuring only safe materials are in contact with food. Rest assured, you can enjoy the food without any unwanted additives. 😊 For further context, similar safety standards apply to convenience store containers in Japan. Instead of using low-cost materials like Polystyrene (PS), we utilize Polypropylene (PP) for its high heat resistance (over 140°C), ensuring it's safe for microwave heating. Manufacturers have developed materials specialized for microwave use, offering containers with both heat resistance and suitability for freezing. For example, materials like MFP (Multi FP) and MSD (Multi SD) can withstand up to 110°C, and RF material (foamed polypropylene) can endure up to 130°C. These materials are widely used in applications such as convenience store bento boxes, ensuring food safety without melting or altering when microwaved.
