Hello!
Today is all about convenience stores.
We're going to unbox and taste around 20 different food items sold at convenience stores.
I've also included how to use the microwave and a guide to the eat-in corner.
For the light snack sets, I've provided calorie information for your reference.
Please take a look!
This video turned out to be quite long, so I couldn't include cafe or other shop videos this time.
If you have any thoughts or additional information, please let me know in the comments!
Hope you find this video helpful.

I can’t believe how cheap things are in Japan now vs America. Thanks Joe

Great video - so good that you included the price chart showing the currency conversion for many countries and also the calories contained in each product. Very informative especially in showing instructions on how to heat products in the microwave. Your video will really help with my upcoming trip to Japan.

Taste is such a tricky thing, and we all hope to hit the mark, don't we? I guess the thick omelet sandwich might not be everyone's cup of tea. If there's anyone out there who loves it, my apologies! Thanks so much for watching 😊

Thanks for your excellent, detailed video. I’m definitely going to try a mochi cream when I go to Kobe in May. It looks perfect 😜Thank you 🕺🏼

Sounds like you'll be in Japan during the perfect season of May, when it's not too hot and not too cold!🍃 Mochi cream is a must-try, but if it's not available, there will surely be other new and exciting products lining the convenience store shelves. Enjoy your exploration and have a fantastic trip to Kobe!👍

Thank you. For some weird reason I love the melonpan with custard in Family Mart 😅. I also like the American dog…we don’t see that in England.

just thought id mention its hard to see what the subtitles say as there are 2 on top of each other, the english one and some arabic one. I dont know if I can remove the other or not

Have you tried clicking on the settings icon located at the bottom right of the screen? If Arabic appears there, selecting 'Off' should remove it. This might help clear up the subtitle issue by eliminating the overlap. Let me know if that works for you!

Do all the convenience stores have a place to eat or just certain ones? Thanks

7:39 this part of the video talks about the eating sections of convenience stores. Looks like it's more common than some countries but not as common as I originally thought.

It's difficult to provide a blanket statement as it varies by location, but there's a growing trend of convenience stores offering eat-in spaces. With over 50,000 convenience stores in Japan, I'd venture to guess that less than half, perhaps even less than a third, have such areas. This is just from personal observation, so it's not a sure thing. Eat-in spaces are relatively more common in urban areas, though some may only have about five seats due to space limitations. Larger eat-in areas are definitely rarer. Additionally, securing a seat can be challenging during peak times like lunch hours, so if you're planning to use an eat-in space, it might be easier to find a seat if you avoid the busiest times around 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. I hope this information is helpful to you.

14:57 i was absolutely baffled at the mango & pine smoothie. idk who translated that into english for the packaging, but we do NOT call pineapple "pine" because pine is a kind of tree
