Summary of 'History of Sexuality: Volume 1' by Michel Foucault 

Today, we will talk about the history of sexuality by Michel Foucault. We will be analyzing the topics from volume 1. It is a four-volume study of sexuality in the western world by the French historian and philosopher Michel Foucault. He tries to analyze the emergence of sexuality as a conversational object and as a separate sphere of life and he claims that the idea that everyone has sexuality is actually a recent development in western societies.
