Ok, you sold me on Margo's Got Money Troubles - it sounds way more interesting than I thought it would be. I just preordered the Bright Sword - I also love the idea of misfits trying to keep Camelot together. I'm also really excited about The Lion Women of Tehran and All This and More. I've had them pre-ordered for a while lol. As always, love this video and happy (Summer) reading!

Oh Syd, you *must* read The Midnight Library. I do think you would enjoy it. One of its gifts is that it was so good at taking simple messages that we are all exposed to all of the time and making them noticeably impactful and evocative. And there several that you featured here that have gone *right on* to my TBR

The Midnight Library is very good, not great, but solid. I think it’s under 250 pages so you might as well read it if you’re curious.

Some people love The Midnight Library but I don't get why and really hated it. I've read other Matt Haig books and thought they were fine, but I avoid his books now because of the Midnight Library, which is a shame.

"The Extravaganza Eternia" by Kristin Osani!!! It's a debut novella that comes out July 23. It's described as "A darkly fantastical mystery reminiscent of The Night Circus and Even Though I Knew the End, THE EXTRAVAGANZA ETERNIA will enchant and delight."

You might enjoy Hex by Jenny Fagan - it relates to the North Berwick witch trials. Also there is a small fishing village across the Firth of Forth from Edinburgh called Pittenweem (pronounced as it is written Pitt-en-weem) - I lived there for a few years and learned that they have a witchy history too (1704) - search online for Murder, Malice and Misogyny - The Pittenweem Witch Trials. Another book - Corrag (also known as Witch Light) by Susan Fletcher - this one takes place in the late late 1600s. Please say Edinburra - not Edinburg - sorry but ....
