this may be a stupid question, but what backpacks do you usually see your fellow students carrying around? Do you guys have to carry a lot of textbooks all the time?
Not a stupid question at all; to say these books are heavy would be an understatement. If you go back and check out our first video, Angel talks a little bit about using lockers just like in high school lol. But people usually use the backpacks that the law school provides for us. I think the brand is High Sierra. - Sam
Would you like to know more about our college experiences and what our resumes looked like throughout our matriculation or is it more about our opinions on resume building?
Angel did for one year, and I did for two years. In our second video, NYC tips and tricks, you can see the apartment that Angel lived in for the second year. I loved my apartment so I stayed even though it was a bit pricey. I had a doorman, washer and dryer in the building, it was spacey, and it was very close to the law school. - Sam
Hi you both! Could you please do a video on different fields of law/areas of study in law school (like what is corporate law vs. international law, for example)? Also, I know you both went straight through but would you consider bringing in someone who took a gap year(s) before law school to talk about their experiences and the pros and cons of that vs going directly? Thank you!
Thanks for the recommendation; those are great ideas. We're leaving to South Africa soon, so I don't know if we'll be able to get someone on before, but it is actually more common to take a gap year or some time off. Don't hold me to these numbers, but if my memory serves, I believe more than 2/3rd of our class did not go straight through. - Sam
