Thank you,Trish! I just repotted my species orchid. I call it, "Wilson" for short. 😊 She is in the same set up as yours. Moss and Orchidata bark. I'm getting a new leaf already in less than a month. I have her under a grow light, too. The trees block the sunlight in my west facing window. So I get nice sunlight from 2pm until 6pm.

Hi, Trish! You have a knack for getting the summer bloomers to flourish- I struggle with getting the moisture content juuust right. They can be finicky little divas! Your Su’s Glad Kid is HUGE and so happy! I don’t know if Peter Lin mentioned this to you, but that batch of SGK Phals from Big Leaf has a fairly high chance of being peloric! Would love an update on that mystery spike 💙🦋

Hi Trish! Great three part phal videos! I have to tell you how surprised I was to see you Sedirea, it’s huge! You should see mine, the diameter is the size of a dime, not kidding. I have put it in a much warmer setting and it is growing much faster. Now I have something to strive for! Also your psychopsis…..I have six. When they arrived in the mail, they all pouted for a year before they started growing, ever so slowly. Now after two years, all are growing pretty quickly. Yours are just starting to take off! I binged three phal videos and enjoyed them all. Thank you! You are the phal expert!

Psychopsis: Mendenhall seedling clump, like you, turned out to be three, one Mariposa Twin and two Papilo Alba which is yellow. I thought the first one was going to die so I got another quickly. They are hard to find. Somehow it lived and here we are. I don’t know how you work FT, have hundreds of orchids/plants, have a family with pets and have a YT channel. I’m retired and sometimes I don’t know where the time goes! You have a great rest of the week!

I got one papilo from Seattle Orchids, which had 2 pseudo bulbs, one died. I got the other from Waldor Orchids in Florida. I was really worried about a mail order literally across the states but it arrived in excellent condition. No pseudo bulbs died, but it sulked for a year. If you can find one, get it. It is really a beautiful multi-yellow flower. Have a great week!
