Great vid mate. I have a suggestion though. If you are using a bait boat, and casting isn’t an issue, I wouldn’t use a stiff rig for a wafter. Why? It takes all of the ‘waft’ out and you might as well use a bottom bait. This might especially be true on waters where the fish are less forgiving. I’d go for a multi-rig, using a flexible coated braid hooklink, so the wafter has more freedom to gently waft up and down when the carp comes near - something that a stiffer rig will prevent. Has worked for me on mega tough waters. Not wanted to teach you to suck eggs mind - good luck next time and keep up the good work.
Oh - and something else I learned the hard way. You probably know this already but I’m amazed how many people don’t. Wafter don’t work in depths above 10 feet. Water pressure forces them down like bottom baits. Same is true for pop ups in depths above 20feet. No idea how deep your fishing though
When you said tip for rats i thought you meant ration packs for a second and was like "hes lost his mind" haha. Thanks brother. Yeah its called fishing. Not catching.
