I am so glad ltb put the grassburner in all the boxes. First fish I caught with it was 4lb 4 Oz. It's back came out of the water about 3 ft away from it as shared it from the side. One Of THE Coolest topwater bites I've seen. I'll be burning grass for life!

I would love to spend a day on the delta with either of these guys. The spots on the Delta they must have.

Do big, “loud” baits work on big bass that are under heavy pressure? I primarily fish at Fitz Grupe Park in Stockton, which gets pretty heavy pressure from anglers most of the year. The only times I’ve seen people land big bass there were with wacky rigs/dropshots & roboworms. I know for sure that park has lunkers. I’ve seen them during low tide, when the water clarity improves. However they’re spook really easily. Looking at them, walking towards them, even casting in their direction sends them hiding for cover. Will reaction baits get skittish bigguns like these to react??

can you tell me what your setup is for the punching? I live in Bethel Island and I stick mainly to Senkos, but I want to punch through all of the D#$n hyacinth and I tried jigs and I just get all caught up. I tried to zoom in on what you had right after you were talking about the line weight and switching to an ounce and a half weight... is it just a soft bait of some sort on a hook with a floating weight on the line? help me out... lol
