Really enjoyed watching the aircraft. I worked at EMA many years ago at Field Aircraft Services and my late husband worked for BMA and also a firm restoring spitfires.
I suppose the Thomas Cook captain must have been pretty confident it was a false alarm, since the fire service didn't seem to turn out and he sped off down the runway at a fair speed. Makes a change from Jet2 anyway! * Interesting at 20:45: A321 is G-DHJH, DHL 757 is G-DHKH.
Some evenings I go on my plane tracker app and see some planes that are landing at East Midlands airport and I normally see them from 6,000 ft to 3,000 ft , which I find amazing, and they fly right past my house!
Superb video love the lighting conditions towards the end have you ever visited the Aeropark there nice collection of aircraft including a rare Nimrod R2
Great video! Would you mind sharing where you spotted from? I'm heading to EMA for the first time tomorrow and I can't work out where is best to go. Thanks!
