Yeah, the character choices would've discouraged me from summoning if it weren't for Hrid who is extremely goated. As for the question, I feel like many fans expect every FE to be like Three houses, and personally it's a great game imo, but I also don't mind one route as long as it has a good story.
That's the thing, I don't really care for these characters, but I personally don't mind Hrid and he barely gets any love, which is the reason why I only summoned for him, and yes I did get him. Not to mention he's super incredible for a unit, and his frozen effect is super good, especially against NFU. I did end up with some S!Olivia's in the process, but I really don't have any need for her.
"These demotes are hard to summon" as someone who got Ninja Male Corrin at 70 orbs and Bride Nel at 40+ orbs I feel that... i$ should do something about those 4* Focus rates specially with what happen to that person on twitter (remember the 30 Diamants when trying to +10 Lapis? that was rough). These units ended up becoming harder to get with each passing banner. As for the routes... I think 2 routes should be enough or 2 routes with 1 Golden Ending... Three Houses kinda overdid it with 4 routes (which was referenced in the JP title of the game)
Hah, that's EXACTLY why the demotes exist : to force people to dump more money for orbs for their beloved drawings. And they'll never change it and will keep milking all the suckers for all their worth. Too late in complaining about it because majority of the playerbase have been desensitized into thinking "demote unit = easier to merge" til they realize they get immediately shafted out of 5 orbs when the color of said demote doesn't even pop up.
especially if they're colorless since there are SO MANY colorless demotes now that it becomes harder to build up and merge, unless you're lucky enough on a focus banner or revival
Congrats on the summons, I managed to get Hrid after 40 orbs and he was the only one I wanted, so I'm good. As for QoTD, I'm good with FE games having either one or multiple routes, it's the story, gameplay, and replayability that matters imo.
While I am a fan of goat women, idk if I can summon here. I do really like the support of Hrid and Nerthuz. I do think it is best for most people to wait however, as historically summer banner 2 is usually equally or more crazy
Man, people sleeping on this banner and missing out on Hrid. Like he's a major QoL support for your high DEF units mid/SPD. Like I got a good handful of them I can bring out. Hell, someone on Reddit posted their +10 vanilla seliph with over 40 def/res and decent SPD. He's a perfect unit to use Hrid with. Though running NFU support is helpful I'm this case to make sure your unit doesn't get screwed over with guaranteed follow-up enemies
....except, you can also run other supports with less conditionals. Just because "it exists as an option" doesn't mean "it's better than what I've been doing all this time", I'm more impressed that you're underestimating how indifferent players have become because all these new toys no longer impress them... because they'll just release something else that makes it a laughingstock within a banner or two.

I just free summoned Duo Guillveg! My luck has been insane, on the bride banner I summoned the Duo Sharena and literally the next orb I pulled in the same circle was the Duo Sharena. I have never gotten a focus unit, let alone the new Duo back to back, it was mind blowing 🤯
#Question Honestly, with so many waifu OC alts being forced feed to us, we're at a sad state where we still don't have OGs (or mythics at this point) of many of the male OCs, including Fafnir, Bruno, and Elm who are stuck in alt hell. What are your thoughts on units like these and how would you like them to be when they finally make it to FEH?
They'll come with a crappy skillset with a gimmicky niche that gets invalidated after their debut, for the unforgivable sin of being "a male character". And they don't discriminate unless they're a lord.
Congrats on the summons pm1, my only go to was Hrid, and it took some orbs, but I finally got him after 60 orbs. As for QOTD, I personally don't mind one route as long as the story and the gameplay are both good.
For the QOTD, Honestly, I think Sacred Stone's did it best, where theres a split, but it then interweaves into a single route again. It adds a lotta replay value for people who didnt go that route while also not being in a super grand scale. I would say FE6 did it also, and it did, but not amazingly. Keeping track of 4 units EXP to make sure you dont go a route isnt the best feeling in the world, since one is fine and dandy and the other is Sacae. I do wanna use Sue without worrying about that.
The Duo conversation is definitely something that made me feel what it's like to die from cringe. Good Lord, that's the kind of fanservice that I can't imagine anyone seriously appreciating.
Eh, it's just catered to that lonely guy that's using drawings to compensate. Not that hard to process, and anyone with self-dignity will just groan in annoyance at the blatant pandering to the literally blank self-insert, or just roll their eyes because their "affection" comes of as unsettling rather than titillating.
I tried duo gull in a few aether raid matches today, and I gotta say. Her damage output is… not seeming up to par. I think she might need to use an aoe special at the very least. Funny how going from 4 actions to 3 feels so tough 😅
That title sure had me rattled. And we still don't have a playable version of Nijijor, yet Nerthuz, Seidr, and worst OC (sorry fans, but I have my reasons for disliking her as much as I do) already have their second alts. Ah, gender equality from baka systems at its finest.
Exactly gullveig and seidr is literally the worst ocs ever their design is atorcious personally that's what I see and all their characteristics is being simps for the summoner to pander to gooners.
A multi-route FE has my personal preference for replayability. Fates did a great job in that, although I really like how 3 Hopes handled it with pathbound characters, wherein it also lacked the involvement of recruited characters from other regions storywise. However, a single-route game could do, but as you progress you could choose which route to take to reach the end. So like instead of having the story make you go to region A to B to C to D etc, you could choose which region to visit first and second etc (ex. B to D to A to C), and this also changes the storyline and maybe even the outcome / ending. Maybe throw in a few forced missions which will also be different every time you take another route because of the characters you recruit are different per region. This could create good replaybility and strategizing.
The excitement in your voice when you got Gullveig. Congratulations on getting her, and that clutch Nerthuz. For my summons, it started off rough with me not getting a 5 star until u got summer Gullveig on my twenty something summon (I forgot), but after I sparked Hrid who I wanted most, I got Nerthuz back to back like 3 summons later after spark.
Thanks for the fun summoning session! I'm tempted to go for Hrid, but I'll definitely wait for the next summer and Emblem Hero banner before deciding. Didn't get anyone in my summer free summons, but I did end up free summoning Alcryst on his revival.
I got Summer Hrid on the banner as i used some of the tempest trial orbs to get Mythic Gullveig to have a Kvasir/Seiðr/Gullveig team and on the revival of the Rearmed Alcryst banner i finally got Eitr i'll keep summoning on the summer banner to get Summer Gullveig and summer Olivia
Personally I would like a FE not necessarily with different Routes but with more Side-Content that isn't immediately visible, like you have your I don't know let me say 25+ chapters that is the strict main line, but dependent on which characters you recruit, decisions you make, supports you have between certain characters, certain sacrifices you may be able to make etc. it opens up new side chapters or even side story paths of multiple chapters. So a little bit like in the old FE games with the gaiden/x/abcd.... chapters, but not necessarily that cryptic and also more cohesive to the story and its characters. Towards the banner: I just wanted Olivia, got one in the third circle and decided to finish that circle (she came as a 5-star haha) because I think I will not touch that banner anymore and got a Duo Gullveig alongside that Olivia, so I am more than done with the banner haha. :D Congrats for what you got. ^^

Got Summer Hrid on my free summon, and then got Summer Olivia in the second batch (funnily enough in the 12 o'clock position yours came in). I'm pretty happy with that, even if Hrid is -Atk. I got trait fruit to spare. I would prefer something kind of like Sacred Stones where there's a single route for the main story, with a possible branch-off at one point where you can choose to follow one character one playthrough and then another character the next time. However, I would like there to be a side area kind of like that Tower of Valni where you can dungeon crawl, fight random bandits or monsters for coins and/or weapons. It would be pretty fun if they had a tower that was constantly changing its floors, and each one being unique as far as "multiple maps" goes. Different obstacles, different treasures, different enemies; I think that would be extremely fun.

"Wave 4" skills on a summer banner, heh. For the record, book 7 to me was the absolute low point of feh's storytelling, even by its standards. Tasteless fanservice combined with wasted characters and a nonsensical "plot", and because of said fanservice, we're getting bombarded with book 7 alts left and right afterwards.
Finally, someone said it, I don't know why so many people are saying it's the book best written in feh, like it's fine if people like it, but it's weird how so many players are claiming it to be simply for the waifus and fanservice. The only thing I liked from book 7 wass the music and animated cutscenes, but that's about it.

I feel like this duo conversation is one of the more light hearted ones and bordering on being on the comedic side in a simple way, and its honestly refreshing after previous duo conversations that went pretty deep. Its refreshing (fitting for summer lmao) and also funny to watch essentially two instances of the same person bicker with each other. Nerthuz definitely has the supportive mom vibe with Olivia and her shy nature. Which feels natural with her concerning the "children of midgar". And you can NEVER go wrong with THE Almighty Vaike.
They already went wrong with "The Yikes' when they hit him with the stock-standard high atk/def, ok hp, middling spd and shit res axe infantry statline.
@@gojiboy69That's the way it goes, unless you're a lord (and even that becomes questionable nowadays) if you're male you'll be in a redundant unit type with an equally redundant statline with redundant skills. If the character has booba they'll be decent at best with decent fodder.

Congrats on the summons! Personally, single route games are way better, as branching paths with no golden ending like Fates are pretty sketchy in my opinion. However, I would want an Echoes-style multiple campaign where you can follow one story and jump to another if you so choose between each chapter. Remakes of The Binding Blade and The Sacred Stones should do that, especially Binding Blade as I want to see the Champion's Blade cast in that remake. Now I have a #question: What Fire Emblem game do you want a remake of? Like I said with my QOTD answer, I really want a remake of a GBA game, but I also want remakes of the Jugdral saga. There are catches for each in my choices, though: For Jugdral, why not just absorb Thracia 776 into the game and build up Leif into a good unit before he appears in the Part 2 storyline, and for Binding Blade, bring in more characters from Champion's Sword, a supplementary manga that tied in with Binding Blade, make Guinivere playable in the main story because of how Heroes treated her, and bring in more characters exclusive to The Blazing Blade and make them fit in the story, like Lyn and Nils. I agree with liking multiple routes, but wanting different maps for each and like you said, Fates did great with that. Not many maps felt similar after you chose a path, and they felt so different. Like you said, I really dislike how 3H completely reused maps in every route (I love 3H btw, I don’t want to sound negative)
I lean towards the next few fe games not having multiple routes. I feel like the cohesion of 3 houses story really suffered bc of this. However if they do it like fates (unique maps, skip parts that are the same, etc.) Then im fine with it

I actually got all units EXCEPT Olivia...the 4* demote... I was sniping for Hrid because argon, and the colorless orbs along the way. In the same circle as Hrid, I got Nerthuz. I kept going since I still didn't get Olivia. Until I summoned enough to get a spark. So of course I went after Duo Gullveig.
Got Summer Gullveig as my free summon +Spe -Res And after 30 Summons of nothing i got finally some 5* out of the AHR Banner: Winter Byleth (fodder) Nabata Altina (new) Ninja Sanaki (new) Can now spark Legendary Camilla also a new Unit for me Today was a really good day for me
The best thing about summer banners is how long they last. I want to see who the new emblem hero is as well as what’s next in the summer banner. So far my priority is nerthuz.

Managed to snag Gullveig and Olivia in 10 summons, after the legendary Corrin banner only gave me one E!Marth in 40+ summons (I don't have FEH Pass, so no spark for me), so at least I got that going for me. I had to laugh out loud though, after I listened to the duo convo and had to send a video of it to a friend. It's just beyond me, how the writers have to boil their characters down to being kiransexual to a critical degree. As for the question of the day: I like the linear FE games more. Three Houses really gave me Three Houses fatigue at the end, since you had to play through the academy arc at least 3 times and nothing interesting changed and during the war arc a lot of maps were reused. Yes it gave the game a ton of replayability, I even replayed Azure Moon on maddening because I accidentally saved over my completed file, but skipped all the dialogue and cutscenes, but man was the academy arc not fun after finishing my second route. I do like how fates did it, giving you a few units with which you start out, play a few chapters to get used to the new mechanics and then you can save and choose your path from that save file always. But the story did take a hit from being split into three different routes that don't interact with each other. I really enjoyed the characters and story from Three Houses and the gameplay from Fates though, but for future runs of those games I'd probably stick to the routes I liked best, so I'd like them to stick with a single route and improve aspects of the game instead of trying to split the lore throughout multiple routes, ensuring that each route at least feels somewhat different and later running out of time, so they have to reuse quite a lot of things, or even cut content in order to meet their deadlines.

i actually like the routes games but not too long. Engage was a litle off after fates and 3h for me just because that. But one story is still good if the story is well done
Wait, they removed the flower from Nerthuz? I didn't mind the censorship 😅 I was not interested at all in this banner, Gullveig, to me, is my most hated character from the game. I was only interested in Summer Olivia and thank goodness I was able to summon her as 5* with only 14 orbs. Done with this banner, I can now use my orbs to spark for Attuned Micaiah.
