I love your relaxing videos so much! We just switched to the metal containers too! We had so many mice! 🤪Thank you so much for this fun collaboration, Rachel it meant so much to me that we were able to create together! I appreciate your friendship so much! 🥰🤗❤❤❤
Hi Rachel. New subscriber here from Naomi's channel. Love her channel, and she recommended yours. I'm looking forward to watching your videos. Have a great weekend ❤❤
Noemi recommended your site. Anyone she says is good to watch is good to watch. I'm subscribing and looking forward to many days of watching your videos.
You have the most coziest videos ever. It’s literally a pure joy watching you. Your videos are so relaxing & we feel disconnected from the reality for a moment. Thank you for your work & for offering us so much good content. You are my best discover since 2020 ❤
Hi, I'm here because of Noemi from Scandish home. I'm glad, that I found your chanel. I really love calming home making videos like Noemis and now yours too.
Another beautiful video. Love the music and calmness. The boys are so adorable eating their meatball sandwiches. They are blessed to have you as their momma. And those candles are awesome. 💜💛
Absolutely. Question: do you have a source you suggest looking for accurate information on this? I can't seem to get a straight answer on which are safe and not safe, and I'm debating discontinuing use altogether because of all the misinformation. I certainly don't want to contribute to misinformation either. =(
Awww those silkies are the cutest!!!! I have rescued chickens for many years now, since I started to rescue I couldn't eat meat anymore I mean they are precious innocent living beings. Make that coop more predator proof because sooner or later predators will start to try to get to your chickens (trust me). These expensive but so worth it check them out NESTERA COOPS and OMLET COOPS THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Also please use hardwire mesh all around the coop and make a skirt all over so no one can dig inside. Raccoons, coyotes, foxes, etc will do anything to get to your chickens. I hope you take this into consideration and do it and if you do make a video so we can all learn :) :) :)
Another thing you can do against ticks: *homemade food is best for dogs always* and especially when you want to avoid ticks. You can add garlic (yes, dogs can eat garlic) and brewer's yeast to the food and It changes dog smell (we don't feel it but the ticks do) and is a natural tick repellant. Of course, everything I say came from a veterinarian specializing in dog nutrition, It's not something I just read on the internet😅 (My dog was full of ticks every year in the spring until we switched to homemade natural food)😊
Hi! Just happen upon your channel. Where can we find your room spray recipe? Good to know about lavender and cedar wood for ticks - we just moved to the country and our pups is loving his great outdoors. Do you have any flea and tick repellent recipes to use on pets? Thanks!
Hi Rachel! I love all your videos :) you are a sweet soul that the world needs more of! I was wondering which pool you have/if you knew what size it was? Thanks so much!
Rachel, I've always loved your videos!! Thanks for another great one :) I've noticed that you've been changing your thumbnails the last few videos, and the design isn't really resonating with the feel of your channel - perhaps return to your old thumbnail structure? But that's just my thoughts!
@@loomonda18 Yeh. I have a few options I've been experimenting with. Do you feel it's too young/ colorful? Bubbly? These are how I used to do my thumbnails back in the day, so I was experimenting with them again. I have a few options I've saved that I can switch to.
@@racheltalbottYes a bit too young feeling, imo - but I like the addition of text to the thumbnail so you get a sense of what the video is about. But perhaps adding the text without all the colour over top of the thumbnails, in a more neutral/white to make it feel more elevated? Just suggestions!
@@racheltalbott For sure! Maybe adding a black/grey drop shadow or even putting the white text over top a black box, or vice versa - hope my suggestions were of some help!
i remember watching you when i was 12! 8 years ago watching your DIY, lifestyle and home style videos, i just checked back in and im so happy ur still making videos that I can finally relate to lol ❤
Rachel, in our journey with chickens these last 3 years, my husband researched hemp as a henhouse filler from Carolina Coops. We order it online and change it out once a “year”! Less flies too. It also makes it easy to sift out the manure for the garden. When I do replace it, I scatter it under the fruit trees. 🍊Works fantastic! Lovely video! 😊
Could you do a video on growing herb? I.e. Best time of year to grow each type, when to harvest, how to dry/store, reliable books or websites to help with starting/having a herb garden. I want go start one but don't know where to begin ❤
I came to watch your videos because Noemi suggested to on your collaboration together. I loved it. Although I live in the UK it’s great to see how other families live, even though you are on the other side of the world values and daily life is similar. 🌿
Love this especially the part on the candle making. I just hate buying candles and throwing away the containers. Thanks I’m going to buy this one from Amazon too.
I loved seeing how one of your summer days goes along. The pool reminded me of the one we had in our backyard as kids and fighting over who gets to skim the leaves. Your wild flower field is so beautiful and I can remember pressing flower's in books as a kid too. The chickens have deluxe accommodations and there's nothing cuter than baby chicks. I was wondering if you worried about hawks and other predator's when the chicken's are free ranging? I watch Farmhouse on Boone and she always has the most beautiful colored eggs on her counter. I hope the California cousin are coming for a visit. Thanks for a nice morning with you.
Hi from Jeffreys Bay, South Aftica! So glad that you have a like-minded friend in Naomi 😊 I am also a fan of essential oils and this week I made a fantastic mouthwash using filtered & boiled water 1/2 litre + 3 tablespoons xylitol + 8 drops peppermint oil ❤ have a blessed week!
I found your channel a few years ago during a tough time, I just recently got an alert for it again and I can’t believe I’ve been away for so long 💔💔 I’ve missed your content so much it really motivates me to get my life together 💚🫶 keep up the amazing work and thank you for your amazing videos!
Love all your home and cleaning videos. You help me get things done ❤ I’d love to see a video about turning a day around and beginning tasks after an unproductive morning. Thankful for your content 💕
@@kikiob3628 yeh. I wish all natural worked, but unfortunately with how bad tick disease and heart worm disease is out here in Tennessee, I have to give them the medication and also I use some natural options around the house too.
Oh wow! I will have to research this. As I understood, a few drops on the dryer balls is ok. First I've heard this. Thanks for the heads up. I certainly don’t want any fire hazards!
@@racheltalbottyou might want to also research glass suitable for candles. I was super concerned to see thrifted glass used and am worried about them exploding around your family when the candles burn. Much like how not all glass is oven safe or microwave safe, a lot of glass is unsafe and unstable for direct heat/flame and could shatter. Please stay safe and happy.
@@_Jadot_ yeh. I did research that, and thick glass like these should be ok, but to be honest there are mixed opinions on both of these issues. The essential oils and the glass. Most of my research indicates that the flashpoint of the essential oil matters when it comes to the dryer, and a few drops shouldn’t cause a problem, however if there’s any concern it may be best to avoid altogether. I always turn my dryer off when I leave the house out of concern for a fire.
