I think the show would be more engaging if they took the opportunity to take some of these conflicts & fleshed out the discussions around them on camera. Similar to how the Real World would do whenever there was conflict. The situation w/ Nick & the women in house is not uncommon in friend groups. There might be a person in the group who crosses the line but because their “intentions” don’t seem nefarious it gets overlooked. That situation is the perfect opportunity to discuss boundaries & why women do not always speak up when they are uncomfortable, even amongst ppl they have a good relationship with. Also a good opportunity for Nick to express how sometimes men’s actions with female friends is viewed as sexually motivated even when it may not be & ask them what he could have done differently to make them feel more comfortable about addressing the behavior directly with him. I definitely think he was flirting with Bria but not in a sexual way if that makes sense. I think he’s just kind of awkward & corny & attempts to be smooth sometimes to cover for it. Amir reminds me of Drake. A biracial man who’s disconnected from his Blackness & trying to find it within this friend group. Bria is too dramatic & too hard on Simon. I dont even think Simon was turning up for the camera. I think he just gets white boy wasted and wants to have a good time. Also a conversation to be had about reliance on alcohol for a good time & how it shows up negatively in friend groups when conflict arises. Most of these arguments have escalated in ways they likely wouldn’t if folks were sober.
Great points. I'm naturally flirtatious and playful. But over the years I've curved that behavior with people I'm not familiar with. It could be misconstrued, and I don't want the attention or the response that could possibly come with it.
This episode left me annoyed as hell. I cannot stand a pot stirring heifer. Natalie inserting herself into certain situations, stroking Tasia’s hair, and her micro aggressions were too much for me.
I think Alex gave Nick/Tasia the heads up bc Tasia came to the house in workout gear but all of a sudden didn’t have anything to wear bike riding. So proud of how Tasia refused to engage with Nat.
With Natalie's comment about Tasia being in bed and Nick still being downstairs, what she fails to understand is that the party was Nick's event. He can't just go upstairs in bed cause Tasia is sleepy when they have a house full of people. It's not like Tasia wasn't in the same house, they just were in separate rooms doing different things (lying down vs entertaining folks). It's not the end of world. Nick don't have to be all in Tasia's ass like Amir is all in Natalie's ass. He's damn near 40! I'm not sure how old Tasia is (I think they mentioned it season 1) but in any event, she's grown! She had no issue with him doing what he needed to do cause he was working!
Preston was still partying at Jordan’s Freaknik event while Donald came inside and fell asleep on the couch, so who cares Nick was still downstairs while Tasia went to bed.

This episode had me hot. Natalie and Amir have to go. I cannot look at them anymore. Natalie did nothing but start shit. I don’t know how she’s calling Nick’s girlfriend her friend? Once confronted, Bria and Noelle lied. Noelle got caught up and, instead of being truthful, she said we didn't talk about you like that and it wasn't that big of a deal. She denied what was said (even though they showed a flashback of the lie). Bria said we didn't accuse you of anything but they did (and the flashback was proof of it). Both of them didn't want the consequences for what they said. They tried to deny it and then gaslight him.

In the text messages, Nick texted Natalie and said "Tasia didn't like that. What's going on?" Natalie said "Apparently, you are touchy" Nick said "Really? Who said that?" So she responded "Shanice, Bria, and Noelle." She then said, after Amir gave her the okay, that the girls were talking about them and she wanted to let Tasia know what was going on. She was just trying to give her the heads up. That is basically the conversation. So, Natalie, despite the mess, didn't lie and make things into what it wasn't supposed to be. Bria did say he was touchy. What made things escalate was them backpedalling then gaslighting him by standing on the 💩 they had said, adding on other terms "loose, handsy, wondering eye" and then giving examples.

I feel like Natalie mixed up her conversation with Amir vs the girls. Amir probably told her about the conversation with Nick and Jordan/Summer. The only reason Bria didn't want to bring it up to Tasia is because she was the one who delivered the news last season. She knew if she said she wanted to talk to her, Tasia would suspect something. Last season, Bria had a similar conversation (about him hiding her, etc) with Jordan those and she took it upon herself to tell Tasia at Nick and Alex's event. I'm SURE Nick talked to Bria about that. I'm also sure that he was upset after he listened to her telling Tasia what she did last season so she didn't want to get her hands dirty by delivering the news herself. So, it's easier for her to just say her piece, give some info, then let someone else could deliver it. As for Noelle, while she said she didn't want to tell Tasia, she also didn't tell Natalie not to tell Tasia either. As a matter of fact, she said that she wanted to know what Tasia was thinking cause it must be hard to wonder what your man was doing less than 48 hours ago. Bria did most of the talking, with Noelle adding some commentary here and there, but whether Natalie said something to Tasia, Nick, or no one (she just told him that they said you were touchy freely. He asked who and she told him. That's it.) the others still said what they did.
