While I appreciate Summer saying that she was jealous of Noelle's budding friendship with Shanice and Bria, I think where she is with this friend group is of her own doing. She came on this show through Jasmine. Like most of them, she moved away from her and gravitated towards Jordan and Preston ("the cool kids"). They treated her like 💩 but she took it cause she wanted to be liked. Jordan chastised her like a child, never gave her a space to be vulnerable, and she treated her as if her feelings didn't matter. Preston is Team Jordan so he will always put her over Summer. Being that as it may, whether they had issues going on in their lives or not, they would have still treated her the same way; like mean friends. She had the chance to move away from that and all of the heaviness, and build relationships in the house with the rest of the cast but she chose to do exactly what was done to her. She poked and insulted at Shanice. She set up Noelle, tried to stunt on Bria, and not only flipped out on Noelle multiple times but she also pushed her. So, does she expect to build and have carefree relationships with people when she's always mean to them? The same things she don't like in her friendship with Jordan and Preston is what she projects and does to other people. Yes, she has things going on in her life BUT that doesn't give her a pass for the way she had been on her mean girl tip this season
I agree with everything you said but I'm not understanding the narrative that summer set up Noelle to be hurt by Alex when other ppl in the house was encouraging Noelle as well because they thought Alex felt the same about her. Why are we putting that on Summer?? I dont think thats fair lol

Add to the fact that Natalie belittling Amir’s career infront of them, saying she only sells homes that are $2million plus and he sells homes to “commonfolk” and that what she makes in a month is his yearly salary.

Amir’s girlfriend was very uncomfortable around all those Black people. It was established last summer that NONE of the single women on the show were checking for Amir. Literally nobody said “I want to get to know Amir better”. Amir is a punk with arrested development. His girlfriend emasculates him & because he has no clue who he is he just accepts it. Bria was gagged when Phil said he was with Mariah. Nick is a cutie with his preppy self. I liked him with all those tattoos. 😍😈 Noelle is absolutely hilarious.

S/N: Did you watch Alex on WWHL? 🤣 Andy asked him about some of the turnoffs with Summer and he basically implied that she has different personalities that he didn't know she had. One time, she's Summer, other times she's Autumn. He said she was Winter on the show 🤣🤣🤣 He told Andy after the dinner scene, on episode 1, where she told everyone that he was inside her, he didn't talk to her for the rest of the season. 🤣 Also, Andy asked him to rate his sex with Summer cause she gave him a 5. He said he wouldn't do that but he just found it rich cause she was just sending him multiple voice voices likes a crazy, stalker ex, just a few weeks before she and Jasmine were on WWHL (which was 2 weeks ago). Amire's Gf made me mad with her comment and here is why: when it comes to financial investing of any kind white people perfer to work with White or Asian brokers / agents. Its much easier for a white person to build a wealthy book of business than a black person. It normally takes the black person longer, and it usually requires them to partner with a much more successful agent in order to do so. I use to process life insurance and financial securities for brokers / agents and i would watch the black agents struggle over and over again. Most would quit. Only the ones who knew how to play the game survived. That girl gave me the impression of someone who started off with a lot of wealthy family referrals and worked her way up from there. To bad Amire doesnt realize he presents as Black.

The show has potential, they need to shake up the cast. Summer is going through a lot a wish her well. Alex definitely has her in knots and her personal life being in the state that it is I know she was trying to cling onto someone to fill that void. I don’t think her “friendship” with Preston and Jordan serve her, it’s too negative and toxic. To me it’s more of an alliance, but oddly enough she isn’t even being a good friend to the girl she brought. Amir and his girlfriend are interesting. She looked uncomfortable being around black people, and I think her speaking to Amir in Spanish is indicative of the fact that she doesn’t see him as black or one of them that she kept saying we’re doing the most/that she didn’t want to be a part of. She consistently emasculated that man in front of his friends and peers and got away with it. If it was a BW who did that it hood be another story. I also dint know why Amir three summer under the bus for being hands, basically calling her a Nick. To me it seemed like he was just saying anything to please his girlfriend and chafe himself to make her more angry (because she didn’t smile once)

Since you brought up the other folks: I watched Winter House (S3) and BABY ...the way they "partied and bull💩", I was exhausted for them! 😩 From the nastiness in that house to Danielle fking on Alex, Jordan (MV Jordan) crying cause Malia "kissed" the guy she liked (who wasn't even single), then Jordan getting punked by Danielle over Alex....that season had me SPINNING! You should watch that show. Jordan was the only black person in there, the guys objectified her from day 1, and she welcomed it with open arms.

Jordan called dibs on Alex, then Korey, and even after Danielle was fking on Alex, she was flirting with him without a care in the world... BUT YET she had a problem when the Amir and Alex called dibs on her in s1. They filmed Winter House before season 1 of MV premiered so she went and did the same things in Winter House that she had a problem with in Martha's Vineyard.

IMO, Amir was 100% responsible for what happened between bria and mariah. The fact that bria and the others are cool with amir, even after learning in real time and after watching the show, tells me that the shove wasn't the real reason why mariah is not in the house. I think the reason why mariah is not there is that mariah doesn't represent the type of black that the rest are "pretending" to be. They don't think that mariah, who is earthy, spiritual, laid back, non materialistic, is high class enough to be a part of the cast.

Love the show just need a little more outside excursions and more singles cause everybody booed up is cool but the drama would be off the charts with more singles.

I think they need to pick a time where the Vineyard is popping bc like I said last week Summer House Hamptons is good bc they live close enough to commute each weekend & that’s when everyone goes to the Hamptons. I’m think the Vineyard is the same and they can’t get the same interaction. We also get a lot of backstory from the YT cast because they follow them in NY too. I agree with you on the grace that would be given though bc they be wilding on Hamptons. However, I’m going to keep watching bc I like seeing the youngins living their lives. Noelle is FUNNY AF! (Post ep 8) Natalie really relishes in the fact that he waivers in his self esteem, particularly regarding not being in tuned with his blackness. Because of that, he treats her like some golden egg that is to be praised. I knew of an African guy my age in school who acted like this. He would excuse our classmates (who are of Natalie’s background) that belittled him and berated his culture, yet when me or other black girls called him out for not standing up for his people, he was rude to us. That never sat well w me. I’ve noticed people who don’t know their culture (albeit self worth) are easy prey to people who want to take advantage of that. They will play in their faces.

That's what I said. Bria gave Summer a pass because she is very quick to apologize and want to reconcile, while Mariah was fine paying her dust. Furthermore, Bria was just being petty about kicking Mariah out for what she did to her earlier since everyone wanted to kick Phil out. Had that not happened I promise Mariah would've stayed until they both decided to work it out.
I watched the first episode of Summer House and haven't watched another episode this season. I feel a disconnect since Silas wasn't apart of the show, or maybe these people are too young for my liking. I really liked the first season.
Bria’s issue is that she knows Mariah would beat her ass and not take her mess. Summer is equally as messy and seemingly unwell. So I’m wondering if Bria granted Summer more grace because she’s a mess. I wouldn’t mind Mariah back on the show but I don’t need her back. She didn’t give anything before she left. I don’t have any attachment to her personally but I wouldn’t be mad if she came back. I also think production is pushing for Phil to rejoin the cast cuz the guys are boring. I don’t see them getting rid of Summer either. I can see them phasing out Jordan.
I went back to watch S1 of Summer House to compare house size of MV and I found myself finding a lot of comparisons in the cast mates. Jasmine is the Kyle of the group being they’re the nucleus of the cast. Phil is Everett, Sunmer is the twin who hooked up with Carl. Shanice is Danielle without the hook ups. Preston is Stephen. That’s where I am so far.
