This young lady speaks very clearly and is very expressive. Her speed of speaking is great for an intermediate learner like me. If I can continue to find clear videos like this, I will improve my comprehension eventually. I love the videos. They are easier to understand than audios, in my opinion due to the facial and body expressions. Tremendous product. I am subscribing to the paid version. Thank you!!!

I was tired of low level spanish, so I challenged myself to watch this video. I used the Spanish subtitles. I was able to follow the entire video. For the word here or there that I could not figure out, I stopped the video and used Google Translate. THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO! It built my confidence and motivation. Thank you for sharing your story.

I did the same thing, except I went to Mexico to learn Spanish. It was great! I lived with a family that didn't speak English so I was fully immersed in the language and the culture. I went to a school during the day and on the weekends we went on trips to different cities near Morelia. I was really excited because my Spanish really accelerated and when I returned home I could speak much more Spanish. I was happy because I could carry on conversations with my Spanish speaking friends. I would love to do it again.

Great story! I understood a lot of what you said. Now if only I could write in Spanish as well as I understand it. Much work to be done. I had an experience similar to this. I live in New York and when I was around 10 or 11 years old, I went to Italy with my father and brothers to visit my relatives there. Although it wasn't much of a culture shock as I am Italian American, I recall how lost I was as I didn't know the Italian language. It was a great experience and I hope to one day visit Spain.

I love listening to these short stories. I cannot speak Spanish very well. However with the Spanish subtitles, I can understand almost everything in this story.

Is that strange that i understand whole video in like 90% after 70 hours of watching mostly superbeginner videos? It's amazing how fast advance in understanding. I did some duolingo to Rookie level also but its so motivating knowing that i can understand a lot from intermediate videos already
