When I was eleven being a farmer was my dream. As a teenager I met my future husband, I was thrilled to learn he came from generations of Yorkshire farmers. We have now been together for 61 years. There has been no farming in our wonderful life... BUT you, Sandy, are living it for me. I love your channel and as previous commenters have said, a new Sandy video is a treat.

Lucy is so loved because she can fall asleep anywhere and lies on her back because she feels so safe. ❤

I LOVE the Christmas lambing!! Ive spent the last 4 Christmases watching Sandi's lambing...so now it feels like tradition for me to watch and listen to the Christmas music Sandi adds. I ALWAYS look forward to it as part of the Christmas season!! 😊

I sure do love seeing Carissa, it impressive to see young lady work like she does and does some cow things on top of that. It rare to see a young person be that dedicated. Hats off the Carissa hope she stays around.

Sandi, talk about playing everything by ear! It raises, once again, the same old question of every farmer: why can't we control the weather? 🤔 In addition, why do I have more equipment needing a fix than operational ones? And the questions March on.... Bless your heart! Glad the hay is done for now, though! Excellent explanation of CIDR usage and how it affects breeding groups. Newcomers to your channel don't have farming knowledge about that. If you did not use this with the ewes to be bred, your 'due dates' would be all over the place. Like you said, trying to keep them lambing together helps so much overall, including their, as well as the lambs, healthier on a normalized schedule. It's a win win! 😉 Little Peanut didn't look so good. Do you think he is getting bullied by the larger lambs? There was no visible injury or reason for it. However, thank you for giving him pain relief and an antibiotic as that did the trick! Ears perked up, headed straight for the feed bunk, and chowing down! When the neighbors cut the field next to us, we prepare for rain. Every. Single. Time it will rain on it at least 3 times. One cutting, they tedded it eight times. They are out there now putting it into rows after fluffing it four times since it got rained on many times since they cut it 2 weeks ago.

I live on the western side of Colorado. When you said it was 26 degrees all I could think of was cold, it is 88 degrees here. I then remembered Canada is on Celcius. Hot is hot !!!

I just love your blog. It reminds me of some of the best times in 4H. But it was horrible to have to sale them. And come home and find that my breeder ewe had quads. 2 lived and 2 still born. And they grew up to be someone's lamb chops.

Sandi, you're not a bad cook, Mark is just a bit better. Lucie demonstrates "the turtle," which is often seen in the paddocks of Cammy, Lizzie, and Tara's vlogs. I have sympathy for your warm weather. I live in Texas now and am better with high temps (we have had highs in the 90s most days for over a month and the humidity is high as well). However I was raised in Michigan without AC and remember the brutal summers.

When you were showing the wet under hay, I was saying to myself.. Well just Ted it. Lolol. I remember all too well making hay on the farm with my Grampa. Cut, Ted, Ted, merge, bail, pick up, stack. For those who don't know, Tedders are weird looking trailer attachments with groups of long two spike things that hang down spinning on several different sideways wheels, used to turn over cut hay. Only way I can describe these scary things. Haha. Like tossing a salad in a really big wild way. Ohhhh memories. Thanks!!! 😅😅

I loved hearing Mark tried Meat church Pork Belly Burnt Ends. We have made them for quite a few years, and we first heard of them from Matt at Meat Church. We use the Honey Hog BBQ Seasoning that Meat Church sells. Oh, so good! We can it Pig Candy and do quite a bit at a time, divide it up in serving sizes, and freeze it. When ready for it, sit it out and pop it in the microwave.

I so much enjoy watching your vids and had just set myself up with my morning coffee when tragically in towards the first 10mins my love of my life my rescued pet bird seizured and died right next to me so that feeling when you know your pet (or fav lamb like Peanut) is sick you want to do anything to help them. You don’t know just how much relief I got from seeing Peanut get better - and that goes for all your flock and pets such great care given always xxxx
