I'm in the Isle of Wight 😊 18 degrees,lots of wind and some rain. Not really summery but lived for 4 years in Tennessee then 1 year in Illinois and the heat (blended with high level of humidity) was killing me... I'm not built for these extreme temperatures so much enjoying the freshness of the island.

Texas is so hot. I don’t think people who haven’t lived there how hot it is. Wearing makeup is tricky and sometimes not so practical. Concealer blush eyeliner mascara are my faithful friends. Have a good summer and sweater with class. ❤

Great tips for helping to squelch the make-up mess that comes from the high heat. I live on the Treasure Coast in Florida & started using the Tarte 16-hour wear powder foundation. Light, pretty & works well while I am planning & planting landscapes for my clients. Cant wait until "merch" is on-line! 😊🎉❤

Thank you for the lovely video tutorial. Yes indeed…. 99 degrees here in Illinois with 90% humidity… I have very dry skin so I usually wear dewy products. However, I’ve noticed lately after applying my moisturizing SPF my skin is a little too dewy. I’m scared of powder since I’m 61. Unusually hot and humid in PA this summer so far. I’m normally very “fresh-faced” in the summer…my makeup will just melt away from my face! And lots of hard hold gel for my curly hair to combat the frizz!

Try Lancome Tient Idole Concealer. Its matte but not drying. Blends really well. 260 is a good medium neutral. Sometimes I use a tiny dab of 215 in the inner corner. Also the new DRMTGY Luminous Eye Corrector in Med is really good! it has spf 41 and does what it claims to do which is brighten darkness under the eye. I still powder over it right or wrong for our age, unless Im going to the pool or something. I also sometimes use it with the Australian Gold Mineral tinted SPF in Med to Tan. It has coverage and dries kind of a soft matte finish. Its great in the summer even as a foundation.

Ive been to Dallas a few times and the heat combined with humidity there is HOT!! Beautiful city but if you're not used to that kind of heat...it's unbearable in my opinion and I'm from Texas 🥵🥵🥵

Ooph, it’s 98 here in North Carolina tomorrow! In the summers, I use a satin matte finish bb cream, very sparingly in my t-zone and on the nose where I get oiliest. I apply a cream bronzer across my cheeks and nose, and a stain blush. Lip liner only on the lips, along with a lip mask with SPF. The Nars pressed setting powder and some blotting sheets come with me everywhere!

I’m 60 with super oil skin. I found Milk of Magnesia helps matte. Use it after my moisturizer gets in.
