Growing up in Vancouver(where Bryan is from), at the time this song came out. It was our anthem. BIG part of the local identity.

Thats super cool song and so is the lesson. Even though I knew how to play this song, still watched, because here is the thing about Justin. He always teaches songs very accurately, shows licks beetwen the chords, some runs e.t.c. Whereas others youtube teachers just show you the chords and D DU UDU strumming. Justin's lessons guarantee you quality.

The sevent of July I will be playing this song with my first band. When i was about 8 years old I had a friend and we always used to listen to this song together and dream of playing it in a band. Now, 8 years later, I'm finally in a band and about to play this song live. Edit: I absolutely loved it. Made a few mistakes but it went suprisingly well.

If you're a bit slow at picking the keyboard riff you can also strum through it just making the proper changes with your pinky between the major and sus chords. I think this sounds particularly good if you're playing along with the original recording by yourself. It fills the space a bit better than just the picking. I love the way Justin does the chorus!! Fun tune!
