I’m Scottish. This is my 16th year in Switzerland and we are having a Scottish summer! I was amazed when I moved here to find the summers are really hot. 36 Degrees c is not unusual. Lots of opportunity for flowing fabrics
I like your descriptions of each garment to the weather, feeling or place you're wearing the piece. Illicits my imagination and I get how it would feel to wear. 💗🇨🇦
Thanks for another great vlog Sam & yes I did buy the other colourway of that jersey fabric from Fabrics Galore. It was such a great price in the sale 🤩
Btw, I love what you did with your Naya. I made a double gauze version last week but didn’t even occur to me to leave the neckband off. I think I will try that next time (or even a bit of bias binding around the neckline. Thanks for the tip 😊
I’m loving the billy hack so much Sam 👌👌😍, need to really think about making that work for me …maybe my southern sewcial project if I can get some time this week to get organised 🤞 I’m really looking forward to catching up with you all xxx
Thanks for another great video. I love your apple t-shirt dress. The fit is perfect on you. 👌Very interesting how you deal with the gaping in the back. And yes,yes and yes to all your suggestions for further videos on drafting the skirt pattern, the lantern sleeve hack, and how you style your garments . I love your content! 😊
Great vlog, love your skirts, just about to draft one for myself. I made a Donny shirt out of the strawberry double gauze, I got this from Fabrics Galore, I’ve shopped these guys for years, their fabrics and customer service is amazing. I also influenced by you ordered myself some strawberry Jazz and Wow earrings, I’ve put them somewhere safe though and can’t find them 🤦♀️😂. Looking forward to the Sewcial on Sunday
@@sequingirliei have been considering copying the lotta top by TATB for a couple of years. That’s pretty similar to the Naya. And would work as a t shirt too. I have some white double gauze and some lovely dobby cotton. I may have to line it. It’s pretty see through.
I'd love a tutorial for the skirt! I made the chalk and notch fringe dress from a cotton lawn fabric, but I kind of hate the neckline on myself and I don't know how to fix it now that it's all nicely faced and finished :(
@@sequingirlie as a busty girlie I find I don't like how I loon in high necked styles, and it's just too high, but it's so nicely finished 😭 I'd copy something ready to wear from my closet, but I don't buy them because they don't fit lol - I don't think I own anything that isn't stretchy
