Summer steam in Graubünden | Steam locomotive Albula of the Rhaetian Railway (4K) 

On August 9, 2020, the Rhaetian Railway organized its annual Davos tour in Graubünden. From Landquart the journey leads via Chur, Tiefencastel, Filisur to Davos and back via Klosters to Landqaurt. The steam locomotive 107 Albula was used and due to the high risk of forest fire, the historic Rhaetian crocodile had to be harnessed on some sections.
Experience the special train on the beautiful Albula Railway, as well as on the famous Landwasser Viaduct and the Wiesen Viaduct.
The steam locomotive belongs to the RhB G4/5 series and with an output of 800 hp and a top speed of 45 km / h it was once the powerhouse on the narrow-gauge railway network. Today it is only used occasionally on special trains.
